Due to demand, The New Group has announced an additional week for the company's world premiere production of Hamish Linklater's The Whirligig, with Noah Bean, Norbert Leo Butz, Jon DeVries, Alex Hurt, Zosia Mamet, Jonny Orsini, Grace Van Patten and Dolly Wells. 

The Collaborative Theatre Company will present "Alice in Wonderland" as its final show of its second season from June 9-25 at Fells Point Corner Theatre.

Diamond's comedy-drama Smart People, which makes its D.C. debut at Arena Stage. Set against the backdrop of Obama's 2008 election, Diamond's fiercely funny play explores the unavoidable nature of cultural bias. Deputy Artistic Director Seema Sueko makes her Arena Stage directorial debut with this "sexy, serious and very, very funny modern-day comedy of manners" (Variety). Smart People runs April 14-May 21, 2017 in the Kreeger Theater.

PlayMakers Repertory Company is proud to present "Mr. Joy," a work by award-winning playwright Daniel Beaty, as the final production of its 2016/17 PRC² second stage season.
