Now, Christie shares his journey from accused (though not convicted) murderer and arsonist to legitimate business owner and family man in the new, solo stage production OUTLAW. Written and directed by Richard La Plante, OUTLAW is coming to the Playhouse @ Westport Plaza June 29-July 1. In this radical re-imagining at JACK, two multi-disciplinary artists play the combative titular couple and head up the design team. Joined by an ensemble of some of Brooklyn's sharpest comedic voices, Gordon Landenberger (Bruce) and trans actress Theda Hammel (Marie) double as the set and sound designers, respectively, for this hilarious and timely new production. 

The Theatre Group at SBCC will start the season July 11-28, 2018 in the Garvin Theatre with the musical, GREASE.  Book, lyrics and music by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey.

Telemundo Deportes, the exclusive Spanish-language home of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, today announced its team of commentators and analysts for this summer's tournament taking place June 14 - July 15. The on-air team will include Telemundo Deportes' award-winning television presenters and former soccer star players and coaches to serve as experts and join the announce teams for relevant matches. The four announce teams and the entire commentary team of experts will be based in Russia throughout the duration of the tournament, with commentators calling the action live from stadiums for the vast majority of games.

New Line Theatre, "the bad boy of musical theatre," announces its 28th season of adult, alternative musical theatre, including the world premiere of THE ZOMBIES OF PENZANCE, Gilbert & Sullivan's newly discovered, original 'operatic abomination,' in its first ever production, running Sept. 27-Oct. 20, 2018; followed by the 'family values' classic musical LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, running Feb. 28-March 23, 2019; and to close the season, the St. Louis premiere of the new sci-fi rock musical BE MORE CHILL, based on the bestselling novel, running May 30-June 22, 2019. All New Line's mainstage shows will be in the company's home, the Marcelle Theater, in the Grand Center Arts District.

Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC/CUNY) and the BMCC Foundation will host the 2018 Gala, Invest in a Future: Empower Success, on Tuesday, May 15 at Cipriani, 25 Broadway in lower Manhattan. Tony Awards® Administration Committee has announced that based on the recommendation by the American Theatre Critics Association, that La MaMa E.T.C. (Experimental Theatre Club) in New York City, NY, will be the recipient of the 2018 Regional Theatre Tony Award. The honor is accompanied by a grant of $25,000.
