Backyard Cinema's THE SNOWMAN EXPERIENCE Lands at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Raymond Briggs' beloved picture book, The Snowman, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland has teamed up with themed cinema experts,Backyard Cinema, to bring this world exclusive, immersive adventure; Backyard Cinema Presents: The Snowman Experience to the capital, from 22 November - 6 January. One of the UK's best-loved family films will be brought to life as guests explore the multi-roomed, multi-sensory, cinematic adventure guaranteed to delight the entire family with Christmas cheer and childlike wonder. This incredible experiential show will transport audiences of all ages into the magical world of The Snowman. Spread out over 5,000 sq ft and nestled within the UK's largest festive celebrations, the IMG-produced Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, Backyard Cinema will push the boundaries of traditional screenings, as audiences journey through replica sets representing parts of the movie. One of the multiple rooms will see a section of the winter classic playing out on a giant 10-metre-wide curved, LED screen. The experience is completed with the Snowman himself making an appearance, as audiences explore what is set to be Backyard Cinema's biggest and most festive experience to date.

Originally published in 1978, The Snowman is one of the world's most popular children's books, available in 15 languages across the globe and selling over 5.5 million copies worldwide.

Backyard Cinema Presents: The Snowman Experience joins a selection of festive attractions at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland 2018 including Zippos Circus, ice sculpting workshops, the Teletubbies Christmas Show, Winter Wonderland comedy club, Peter Pan On Ice and the UK's largest outdoor ice rink.

Tickets for The Snowman Experience are priced from £9.95 for an adult ticket, £6.95 for a child and £27.80 for a family ticket (subject to a booking fee) and can be purchased from http://hydeparkwinterwonderland.com. Sessions are every 20 minutes from 10.00 - 21.20.
