Damian Woetzel continues his innovative interdisciplinary series uniting artists from across fields in a special one-night only performance, March 7 in the Terrace Theater. Part of the inaugural DIRECT CURRENT, the Kennedy Center's two-week celebration of contemporary culture, this installment of the multi-genre series will present recently commissioned works, including a world premiere, and Washington, D.C. premieres by some of today's most creative and groundbreaking voices in dance and music.

California State University, Fullerton begins the spring 2018 season with Alan Ayckbourn's comedy, "Taking Steps." Seasoned professional Mark Ramont directs the production, which runs February 23-March 18, 2018 in the Hallberg Theatre on campus. The comedy centers around the tale of Roland, a hard-drinking, irascible tycoon who is interested in buying an old Victorian house that was once a brothel. His wife, a frustrated dancer, constantly threatening to leave him, joins in this frenetic race up and down the dark mansion's many steps in what The Evening News called 'a farce of riotous delight."  

The Science Theater Company, the newly formed theatre company founded by Producer Eric Krebs that uses the magic of theatre to make science fun, will do just that this spring. That Physics Show - now in its 3rd year Off Broadway - recipient of the 2016 Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience, written and performed by lifetime physics demonstrator David Maiullo (and his alternate, fellow physics demonstrator Andrew Yolleck) and That Chemistry Show, written by Borislaw Bilash which both delight, amaze and educate audiences will be performed in repertory for an open ended engagement at The Playroom Theater (151 West 46th Street just east of Broadway) beginning, Saturday, February 17, 2018.
