Porchlight Music Theatre has announced its 26th season that includes the 2020 - 2021 Mainstage, Porchlight Revisits and New Faces Sing Broadway series. College can be extremely stressful sometimes, especially after midterms, which I just experienced last week. However, there are many ways to destress and unwind due to the pressure and trials of school and watching musical films are a perfect way to do just that and what better time of the year to do that than around Halloween time? There are so many amazing Halloween and horror films and surprisingly there are also a lot of horror musicals that are simply fantastic.

In cooperation with Atlantis Twenty and ABS-CBN, Atlantis Theatrical presents Tony winner Lea Salonga (Mrs. Lovett) and Jett Pangan (Sweeney Todd) in Sweeney Todd.

The Novato Theater Company's second show of its 100th season is Sweeney Todd, a co-production with Theatre-at-Large. This musical thriller, opening on October 25 and running until November 17, is directed by Kim Bromley and Bruce Vieira with musical direction by Judy Wiesen and choreography and movement by Marilyn Izdebski.

After its premiere at The Theatre at Solaire in Manila, Philippines, Atlantis Theatrical's production of Sweeney Todd will move to The Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore in November and December 2019.
