A new play by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan (The Kentucky Cycle, All the Way, Hacksaw Ridge), written in direct response to the immigration policies of the Trump administration, reveals how those policies might lead to a terrifying, seemingly inconceivable, yet inevitable conclusion. Building the Wall opens at the Fountain Theatre on March 18, the first in a series of productions set to take place at theaters across the U.S. as part of a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere.

Today we are talking to a world renowned stage and screen star who has excelled in playing a dizzying array of recognizable characters onstage and onscreen over the course of his unique and diverse career - the affable Alfred Molina. Besides discussing his many upcoming endeavors, Molina points out the importance of The Actors Fund in Los Angeles and highlights his participation in the upcoming LA Actors Fund Tony Awards Viewing Party, which will be held on June 7, and reflects on some of his fellow honorees, as well. The "Bad Boys of Abridgement" will leave no joke untold as they deconstruct the entire history of comedy in a dizzying night's entertainment.

The Debate Society is an Obie Award winning, Brooklyn based company that creates new plays through the collaboration of Hannah Bos (writer/performer/NTI Fall '98), Paul Thureen (writer/performer/ NTI Fall '98/ MATS '00), and Oliver Butler (director/developer). Additionally, Lifeline Theatre will produce the seventeenth annual Fillet of Solo Festival and the Georgette Heyer Reading Series.

The sixth annual edition of Origin's 1st Irish, the world's only theatre festival dedicated to Irish playwrights, runs from September 2 to 29. Curated and coordinated by the New York-based Origin Theatre Company, the month-long festival features plays and productions in a stimulating array of styles, by contemporary Irish playwrights from Belfast, Dublin, Boston and New York.

Producer David Binder has just announced that Neil Patrick Harris will star in the Broadway premiere of John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's musical HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH in the Spring of 2014. The remaining creative team members, additional casting, and the theatre will be confirmed at a later date.

Deadline reports that Tony Award winning director Michael Mayer has signed on to helm the upcoming pilot HATFIELDS & MCCOYS for the NBC network. The project, created by John Glenn, is produced by Charlize Theron, Dawn Parouse Olmstead, Beau Flynn and ABC Studios.

Directed with sharp focus by David Shamburger and featuring the expert musical direction of Jo Lynn Burks and the terrific, dance club-infused choreography of Emily Tello Speck, BUMT's Footloose seems far removed from the silly musical theater oddity that debuted on Broadway in 1998, another example of producers seeking to capitalize on a film's success by transferring it to the stage.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jeremy Renner and Julianne Moore will join previously announced cast member Al Pacino in the upcoming musical dramedy IMAGINE from Inimitable Pictures and Mister Smith Entertainment. Dan Fogelman will make his directorial debut on the film.

Appearing Nov. 10 - 12 at Side Splitters Comedy Club is Nick Griffin, who started his stand up career in Kansas City at the age of nineteen. By the time he graduated from college three years later, he was working full time all across the country. He moved to New York City in 1990 cutting his teeth on midnight shows in Greenwich Village. He was poor and alone but getting funnier and funnier. Eventually he relocated to Los Angeles and quickly became a regular at the world famous Improv and The Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach. During this time, he appeared on a handful of television shows including A and EÂ's An Evening at the Improv and Comedy on the Road.

The producers of the new musical BONNIE & CLYDE announced the complete cast of the show. Previously announced stars Laura Osnes (2011 Drama Desk nominee, Anything Goes) and Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, West Side Story) will be joined on stage by Melissa van der Schyff (Big River) as Blanche Barrow, Claybourne Elder (Road Show) as Buck Barrow, Joe Hart (The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public) as Sheriff Schmid and Louis Hobson (Next to Normal) as Ted Hinton.
