East London Dance announces a 12-month programme of new productions, projects and partnerships in 2018 to celebrate three decades as the leading producer of creative dance experiences for the people of east London and beyond.

Miller Auditorium is pleased to announce its 2018-19 Zhang Financial Broadway in West Michigan Series.  Headlining the series is a two-week engagement of the spectacular new production of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA from Feb. 6-17, 2019. Miller will also host MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT, CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE and BEAUTIFUL - The Carole King Musical during the 2018-19 season.

 Ordway Center for the Performing Arts revealed today its 2018-19 Broadway Series sponsored by Bremer Bank, featuring an exciting mix of Ordway Originals, popular touring productions and an international hit show visiting the Twin Cities as a part of its North American premiere tour. 

They dropped a few hints this past weekend and now it is official… Metallica's WorldWired Tour returns to North America this Fall!  Following last summer's 25 date sold-out stadium run, this year Metallica is bringing the in-the-round production currently being seen in European arenas to the U.S. and Canada kicking off on September 2, 2018, in Madison, WI.  Along the way they will be visiting 34 cities that they did not go to last year, and a few that they haven't been to in decades, including Grand Forks, ND (nearly 30 years), Sioux Falls, SD, El Paso, TX, Birmingham, AL (nearly 26 years) and State College, PA (20 years).  About time, wouldn't you say?!

BroadwayCon 2018 was an absolute blast and the Broadwaysted Team was right there for it all! At Opera Saratoga's Annual Meeting, Rosemarie Rosen, President of the Board of Directors, announced results from the company's 2017 fiscal year, which closed on September 30, 2017. The company reported another year of artistic and financial success thanks to the generosity, engagement and partnership of communities throughout the lower Adirondack and the New York State Capital Region.

The New York Philharmonic will celebrate its 175th birthday with a subscription program led by former Music Director Alan Gilbert; nearly 100 historic radio broadcast performances released for streaming for the first time; a New York Philharmonic Digital Archives release of all of the Orchestra's archival material from the 19th century; a New York Philharmonic Archives exhibit, The New York Philharmonic at 175: A History of Innovation; and a free Insights at the Atrium event, 'Inside the Orchestra: Yesterday, Today, and Imagining the Future,' with Philharmonic musicians.

Following last month's announcement of the incoming Jerome and Many Voices Fellows, the Playwrights' Center is pleased to introduce the 2016-17 McKnight National Residency and Commission recipient, two 2016-17 McKnight Fellows in Playwriting, six new Core Writers and three 2016-17 Core Apprentices. McKnight Theater Artist Fellows will be announced in June.
