This week's decluttering is only freeing up a tiny bit of space in my collection, but it represents an enormous place in my heart. The only version of The Wiz I have on CD is the AMAZING/IF YOU DON'T KNOW IT, YOU'RE NOT A REAL BROADWAY FAN original cast album starring Stephanie Mills. I do have the movie soundtrack in my iTunes and the soundtrack of 'The Wiz Live!' is on Apple Music, so let's dive in.

New York Stage and Film announces the programming line-up for their 2019 Winter Season at The Lark/Barebones Studio (311 West 43rd Street, 5th Floor): Halley Feiffer's Saying Goodbye to the People I Love From My Bathtub, 2015 Founders' Award Recipient Harrison David Rivers' the bandaged place, and Sharr White's Pictures From Home.

After years out of print, Rickie Lee Jones' first two albums are now available on LP. Her self-titled debut album and the lauded follow up Pirates were re-released digitally via AWAL Recordings in the latter half of 2018. Now they receive their long overdue vinyl reissues.

Boston Playwrights' Theatre (BPT) continues its 2018-19 season with Laughs in Spanish by Alexis Scheer. Running from February 21-March 3, this fast-paced new comedy is directed by Sara Katzoff.

Global music legend Phil Collins is set to make his long-anticipated return to Australia with his Not Dead Yet: Live! tour, presented by TEG Dainty.
