The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the Globe's 19th annual production of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

MasterVoices (formerly The Collegiate Chorale) will celebrate its 75th anniversary during the 2016-2017 season, beginning with the New York premiere of Ricky Ian Gordon and Royce Vavrek's 27, specially adapted for MasterVoices, on October 20 and 21, 2016 at 8pm at New York City Center, 131 W. 55th Street, New York City.

Teatro Paraguas will host Christina Norcross in a reading of her amazing poetry work. She will be reading from past publications, as well as her two chapbooks, Amnesia and Awakenings and Still Life Stories. The reading will be at Teatro Paraguas, 3205 Calle Marie. PREMIERES, the New York based music theater organization whose mission is 'to bring new music theater to light,' has announced the complete cast and creative teams for this season's Inner Voices, the biannual series of solo works featuring new teams of playwrights and composers. Performances began October 3rd and continue through October 29 at The TBG Theatre (312 West 36th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenues). Opening Night is tonight, October 13th at 8:00pm.

This season marks the silver anniversary of Deborah Voigt's Metropolitan Opera debut, a milestone the Metropolitan Opera Guild looks forward to honoring at its annual luncheon this winter. Over the course of her long and distinguished career, however, the soprano has yet to help create a new opera. That changes this fall, when she stars in the Albany Symphony's orchestral premiere of Roscoe: An American Grand Opera by Evan Mack, who composed it expressly for her voice.

Displaying Haydn's unfussy optimism, The Creation features some of the most memorable and life-enhancing music ever written. Soloists include soprano Ellie Dehn who sings the parts of Gabriel and Eve. Versatile tenor Thomas Cooley sings Uriel and bass Craig Phillips sings the parts of Raphael and Adam.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Interim Executive Director), as part of its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, will present staged readings of two new musicals: me and ella, written and performed by Andrea Frierson, with music direction and arrangements byRon Abel; and Marry Harry, with book by Jennifer Robbins, music by Dan Martin, and lyrics by Michael Biello, at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

[Title of Show] Returns to London for a three-week run at Waterloo East Theatre from tonight 6th to 25th September 2016.

For the second year, the Four Nations Ensemble will make its home at Merkin Concert Hall to present three programs of chamber and vocal music by Bach and his contemporaries, from Handel to Couperin to Vivaldi. The programs, each on Monday evenings, will be held January 30, March 13, and May 8, 2017 at 8:00 PM.
