New York Stage and Film returns July 9-August 7 for five weeks of in-person programming in Poughkeepsie for their 2022 Summer Season.  For 38 years, NYSAF has operated as a vital incubator for artists and their work, a catalyst for stories that continue across the country and around the world.  All tickets are $25 and go on sale June 1.

Raven Theatre has announced its 40th Anniversary Season, kicking off this fall with a fresh take on Noël Coward’s iconic 1930 comedy Private Lives, directed by Ian Frank.

This sweeping and stirring musical masterpiece paints a portrait of America at the dawn of the twentieth century, interweaving the lives of three families—an African American family, a Jewish Immigrant family, and a wealthy white family—finding their places and pursuing the American Dream in a rapidly changing world.

The final First Stage production of the 2021/22 season will be THE LAST STOP ON MARKET STREET, a play adapted by Gloria Bond Clunie from the Newbery Medal-winning children's book by Matt de la Peña, with Illustrations by Christian Robinson.

Lady Gaga has announced her new single, 'Hold My Hand.' The track will be featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming Top Gun: Maverick film. The film stars Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Charles Parnell, Bashir Salahuddin, Monica Barbaro, Jay Ellis, Danny Ramirez, with Ed Harris and Val Kilmer.

For the past four decades, Bronx-born drummer Will Calhounhas been one of the most distinctive and sought-after drummers as a member of the legendary rock group, Living Colour, and as a solo artist with six recordings as a leader. A graduate of the Berklee School of Music, with a BA in Music Production and Engineering, Calhoun combines his love for sound and science when he brings his revolutionary Rhythm Art/AZA collection to the National Museum of Mathematics(MoMath), 11 E. 26thStreet in New York City, April 30 - July 31 in the Museum's Composite Gallery.

Grammy-winning artist Flume brought out Damon Albarn during his set at Coachella this past weekend and surprise released their collaborative track, “Palaces,” just after the set. Another new track, “ESCAPE” with Kučka—who returns following her standout turn on Skin—and Quiet Bison, is also out now. Both songs are taken from Flume’s new LP, Palaces.

California Symphony, led by Music Director Donato Cabrera,concludes its 2021-22 season May 14-15, 2022 with a spectacular EPIC FINALE, featuring the symphony's live premiere of Young American Composer-in-Residence Viet Cuong's Next Week's Trees. 

 Paul Taylor Dance Company (PTDC) will come to the Joyce Theater June 14-19, 2022, offering audiences a unique series of programs that showcase early works choreographed by Paul Taylor including Tracer, Fibers and Aureole, along with a World Premiere by Michelle Manzanales and the New York Premiere of A Call for Softer Landings by Peter Chu, both of which were commissioned by PTDC. Goodspeed Musicals will kick off its first full season of musicals since 2019 with the spring production of Kander and Ebb’s dazzling and daring classic, Cabaret. The Kit Kat Klub comes alive for the first time on the Goodspeed stage from May 13 – July 3 at The Goodspeed in East Haddam, Conn.
