Writers Theatre, under the leadership of Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma, presents A Moon for the Misbegotten, written by Eugene O'Neill and directed by WT Resident Director William Brown. A Moon for the Misbegotten runs February 7 March 18, 2018 in the Alexandra C. and John D. Nichols Theatre at 325 Tudor Court, Glencoe. The Press Opening is Wednesday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m.

Famed Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater marks its annual Kennedy Center engagement, February 6 11, with seven magnetic performances on the Opera House stage. Led by Artistic Director Robert Battle, the company's performances include two D.C. debuts, three new productions, and a total of 10 works by a range of diverse choreographers. Alvin Ailey's American masterpiece Revelations will be performed as the finale for all seven programs.

Described by DJ Mag as one of the most talented new forces in modern dance music today and by fellow future house innovators Art Department as their favourite producer, Lee has firmly established himself in dance music's collective consciousness. Lee and his Hot Natured band mates Jamie Jones and Infinity Ink are currently leading a whole family of like-minded producers that includes Richy Ahmed, WaFF, Digitaria, Robert James and Miguel Campbell, who are currently re-writing the rulebook of how to make evocative, emotive house music. In 2010 he was the highest new entry into Resident Advisor's key Top 100 DJs poll, entering at number 38 and by 2011 he had climbed to number 18 in the chart, a huge feat given that he only played his first European gig in 2009.

The women say that Vereen made physical advances such as unwanted kisses and hugs, as well as verbal abuse about the actresses' weight, sex appeal, and personal lives.

A sixth Veteran's Choice Award will be presented to an individual on site. Honorees will be presented with a coveted Vetty statuette, a custom-designed bronzed military boot placed on a sturdy base that signifies the boots on the ground work of the Veterans Service Organizations. Music at Kohl Mansion Announces Bay Area-Wide 'Violins of Hope' Initiative

Music at Kohl Mansion - at 35 years, one of the San Francisco Peninsula's longest running and most distinguished music series - will produce a Bay Area-wide community initiative in January and February 2020 that will feature the Violins of Hope, a collection of string instruments rescued from the Holocaust and restored by Israeli violinmakers Amnon and Avshalom Weinstein.
