Parrot Poet Productions has just announced the New York Off-Broadway multimedia musical debut of Parallel Worlds, A New Rock Music Experience by writer/composer Brandon Beckner, songwriter/lyricist Steve Sobel, and Director Jimmy Maize (Tectonic Theater Project) at Ars Nova, Theatre 11 on September 25, 2017.

The Public Theater has announced the line-up for the popular Spotlight Series of free staged readings of new plays by The Public's Emerging Writers Group, beginning on Wednesday, May 31 and running through Monday, June 26.

Columbia Stages presents eight new plays written by the Columbia MFA playwriting class of 2017. The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Director Diane Quinn, will present Arrabal, with a book written by John Weidman, music by Gustavo Santaolalla / Bajofondo, choreographed by Julio Zurita, and directed and co-choreographed by Sergio Trujillo.

Natalie Simpson (Royal Shakespeare Company's recent productions of King Lear, Hamlet and Cymbeline) joins an eleven-strong cast to play Duchess Rosaura alongside the previously announced Stephen Boxer in THE CARDINAL at Southwark Playhouse. James Shirley's tragic masterpiece, directed by Justin Audibert, plays from 26 April - 27 May with a press performance on 28 April.
