Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents AJ Lambert in "In The Wee Small Hours" on August 18th, 2017.

In this new show, AJ shares her deeply intimate recollections of her grandfather Frank Sinatra, as only she can, while singing the iconic album in its entirety with a voice all her own. The stripped-down presentation of Nelson Riddle's classic arrangements (with piano accompaniment by John Boswell) allows for a rare opportunity for intimacy with this incredible piece of American music. Whether you know the album by heart or always wanted to know more, this show makes for a very rewarding evening.

Pianist John Boswell has served as musical director for Judy Collins, Andy Williams, Bob Newhart, and a host of other fine talents. John played the role of "Moose" in the national tour of Crazy For You and has appeared on The Tonight Show, Today Show, CBS This Morning, Regis And Kathie Lee, General Hospital and was the piano playing hands of Nancy McKeon on the sit-com THE FACTS OF LIFE. Recent concerts with symphonies have included "Jerry Herman: The Broadway Legacy Concert" and "BLOCKBUSTER BROADWAY". Broadway/Off Broadway credits include Crazy For You, The Secret Garden, LIZA! Steppin' Out At Radio City Music Hall, Back To Bacharach And David and The Kathy And Mo Show: Parallel Lives. John has eight CDs of original piano music and a ninth on the way. While a student at UCLA, John received the Frank Sinatra Award for popular instrumentalists.

AJ Lambert in "In The Wee Small Hours" plays Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on August 18th, 2017. There is a $25-$65 ticket price range and an additional $25 food and beverage minimum. Tickets and information are available at www.54Below.com. Tickets on the day of performance after 4:00 are only available by calling (646) 476-3551.

Granddaughter of Frank Sinatra and daughter of Nancy, AJ Lambert's style and interpretations of both standards and modern music alike is truly her own. After spending her 20s and 30s as a music supervisor and also as a bassist in other people's bands, AJ has now moved into singing the American songbook as she understands it: great music written by great writers, no matter what era it's from. The live presentation of her take on what makes a "standard" was born of her similarly-themed radio show on Sirius XM's Siriusly Sinatra, "Third Generation". Her monthly shows at the Gardenia in Los Angeles showcase both ends of the spectrum, from modern classics by David Bowie and Liz Phair to the standards of Harold Arlen and Duke Ellington. This is AJ's New York debut as a solo vocalist. She is currently working on an album of music that features her unique interpretations of songs by modern artists like Spoon, TV on the Radio and John Cale, and also her versions of some of her grandfather's deep cuts from albums like "Only The Lonely".
