Opera Santa Barbara (OSB) celebrates its 25thanniversary on Saturday evening January 26, 2019, with a GALA CONCERT and spectacular party honoring Marilyn Gilbert who co-founded the company with the late Nathan Rundlett. The event will begin with a champagne reception for all ticket holders before the 6:00 pm concert.

LAGUNA PLAYHOUSE presents the fourth show in its 98th season, four-time Emmy winner Michael Learned ('The Waltons') and Lance E. Nichols (HBO's 'Treme') staring in the Pulitzer Prize award-winning play, DRIVING MISS DAISY, written by Alfred Uhry and directed by Michael Bloom.  Executive Director Ellen Richard comments, 'We are thrilled to bring in 2019 with this powerful and still vitally important play.' American Repertory Theater (A.R.T) has announced the final roster of featured guests that will appear in ExtraOrdinary, a celebration of musical theater at the A.R.T. directed by Paulus.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for Paradise Square: An American Musical. The world premiere is helmed by acclaimed director Moises Kaufman, with choreography by the legendary Bill T. Jones and a book by Marcus Gardley, Craig Lucas, and Larry Kirwan. Music by Jason Howland and Larry Kirwan, with lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and based on the songs of Stephen Foster. Paradise Square is produced by special arrangement with Garth H. Drabinsky in association with Peter LeDonne and Teatro Proscenium Limited Partnership.

World-renowned tenor Anthony Kearns sang the National Anthem and 'God Bless America' at the 2018 Jim McKay Maryland Million Day at Laurel Park on Saturday, October 20, 2018. This was the fourth year Kearns sang at this extraordinary day of racing for Maryland-sired Thoroughbred horses, started in 1986.

Priestley's classic thriller An Inspector Calls will kick off a four-city U.S. tour at Shakespeare Theatre Company from November 20 through December 23, 2018.

The single has been #1 on the Christian Music Weekly Chart for 5 weeks and in the top ten since charting 23 weeks ago. “Beautifully Broken” is currently at #34 on the MusicRow Country Charts and continues to rise, breaking a 22 year stretch for charting a single on radio. The song was also added to Spotify's New Traditions: Country Heroes Playlist.

George Street Playhouse, temporarily located at 103 College Farm Road in New Brunswick, will open its 2018-19 5-play season on October 16th with the world premiere of a riveting courtroom drama.  The season also features a world premiere musical about the legendary Nina Simone, written by and starring Laiona Michelle who gave a searing performance in last season's American Hero.
