Stunt Dog Experience Comes To Poway Imagine hundreds of shelter and pound dogs not only being rescued, but also being lovingly trained to excel at performing athletic stunts which they relish. Picture a husband and wife team who started this family-owned business not only to entertain but also to promote pet adoption, responsible pet ownership, and spaying and neutering. Then you would have The Stunt Dog Experience - the world's largest and original stunt dog show.

Stunt Dog Experience features a cast of nine human and 16 canine performers doing a variety of segments that showcase each dog's unique talents and signature moves. This includes tricks, comedy antics, dancing and other fun feats. The show features the "Golden Bone Showdown," a series of five separate challenges that test the dogs' intelligence, speed, accuracy and leaping ability. All the dogs are trained using positive training methods with the use of a clicker and toy motivation. Each is matched to perform in areas in which they can excel, and therefore, love. And all the Stunt Dog Experience dogs are rescues saved from pounds and shelters across the country.

Since 1999 creator Chris Perondi has entertained millions and produced more than 8,000 live shows in North America. Every show includes interactive crowd participation. Stunt Dog Experience has appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Queen Latifah Show, the Early Morning Show, Good Day LA, Good Day Sacramento, the Hallmark Channel, on Univision, during the Rose Bowl Parade, and in news outlets across the country.

Stunt Dog Experience is owned and operated by husband and wife, Chris and Suhey Perondi. In 1998, Chris Perondi started the first disc dog club in northern and central California. He not only wanted to promote the sport, he also wanted to encourage people to spend more time with their dogs. Chris then created the world's first "Stunt Dog Show" entitled the Extreme Canines Stunt Dog Show. He produced many local shows with his talented stunt dogs, including half-time shows for the San Francisco 49ers and the Oakland Raiders, the San Joaquin County Fair, LA County Fair, Kern County Fair, the Stockton Ports, and more.

In 2001 Chris decided to take his show on the road. That's when he went full time in the live entertainment business, producing shows for major theme parks, wildlife parks, zoos, state and county fairs, and expos. By 2003 Stunt Dog Experience had earned the attention of Jay Leno's producers. From there its fame quickly spread across the country. Thousands of shows later, audiences agree: It's not just a show - it's a fun and heartwarming experience that viewers of every age will love.

This family-friendly production offers two performances: at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and is made possible by Miramar Kitchen and Bath.
