On a bitterly cold London evening, schoolteacher Kyra Hollis (Mahira Kakkar) receives an unexpected visit from her former lover, Tom Sergeant (Greg Wood), a successful and charismatic restaurateur. As the evening progresses, the two attempt to rekindle their once passionate relationship with food and wine, only to find themselves locked in a dangerous battle of opposing ideologies and mutual desires.

UMC to Release Rory Gallagher Compilation Album 'Blues'

In what would have been the 50th year of Rory Gallagher's recording career, UMC are pleased to announce the release of 'BLUES' on Friday 31st May. From the vaults of the Gallagher estate's tape archive comes this collection of rare and unreleased recordings of Rory playing his favourite blues material. Ranging from never heard before tracks to special guest sessions with legendary blues artists (Muddy Waters / Albert King) and lost radio sessions, this album uncovers Rory's love of the blues throughout his solo career from 1971 right through to 1994.

The Center for the Arts at George Mason University announced today the 2019/2020 season of Great Performances at Mason, its annual series featuring leading national and international artists in the disciplines of classical music, opera, jazz, ballet, modern dance, theater, and global music and dance. Hub Theatre Company of Boston launches its highly anticipated seventh season with Helen Edmundson's captivating drama The Clearing, directed by Daniel Bourque, running Friday, April 5 - Saturday, April 20 at First Church Boston, 66 Marlborough Street in Boston's Back Bay. Performances are Thursdays at 7:30 pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, and Sundays at 5 pm. All performances are "Pay-What-You-Can."  Donations of non-perishable food items will be collected at each performance for local charities. ALICE IN CHAINS have released the first two episodes of “Black Antenna,” a dark sci-fi thriller set against the backdrop of the band's Grammy-nominated album, Rainier Fog (BMG). “Black Antenna” was directed by Adam Mason, written by Paul Sloan and Adam Mason and produced by Elizabeth Mason and Nick Vallelonga, who recently won two Oscars (“Best Original Screenplay”) and (“Best Picture”) for “Green Book” (Vallelonga also has a cameo in episode one of “Black Antenna,” “The One You Know.”)

The track appears on forthcoming compilation album Past, Present, Future, out May 3, 2019 on Mute.  Past, Present, Future includes songs from his last two albums Forever (1992) and Everyman (1994) as well as 6 new tracks, including the title track for an unreleased album Eyes of Blue. Dream Theater Release Debut Single From DISTANCE OVER TIME

There is a palpable excitement level surrounding two-time Grammy-nominated and millions-selling progressive music titans, Dream Theater and their upcoming 14thstudio album, Distance Over Time. On the heels of two recently released tracks, “Untethered Angel” and “Fall Into The Light” (both of which have received millions of plays to date via YouTube and Spotify), the band returns with their first official single from their February 22nd release. “Paralyzed” is quintessential Dream Theater; a song that showcases the band's unique ability to write memorable melodies backed with unique song structures and maestro-level musicianship all at a radio-friendly running time of 4:18. Her music transcends geographic, generational, and musical boundaries and her unique melting pot of musical influences have garnered her a devout international following. 'Music has no borders and it creates a oneness among people,' confides Matsui. 'There have been many occasions when I have felt like music saved me.
