Alonzo King LINES Ballet will return to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts with Deep River by company co-founder, artistic director, and visionary choreographer Alonzo King, on Friday, June 9, and Saturday, June 10, 2023, 7:30 pm, in The Wallis’ Bram Goldsmith Theater.

ETT (English Touring Theatre) has announced their new production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, and further programming for 2023.

Stars in the House for Ukraine, an 11+ Hour telethon of the weekly streaming show, raised $139,000 for the International Rescue Committee's humanitarian efforts for those affected by the war in Ukraine. Transport Group has announced that the revival of its acclaimed 2011 production of The Patsy, written by Barry Conners, performed by David Greenspan, and directed by Jack Cummings III, will begin performances Wednesday, March 30 at Abrons Arts Center, 466 Grand Street. 

Loosely inspired by the famous children's story, Rapunzel Alone centers on Lettie, a young mixed-race girl from London who is sent to the countryside for her own safety during the daily bombings of World War II. On an isolated country farm, she faces her own battles with a strict new guardian and a very “fowl” goose.
