Opening Friday, September 9 at 40 Great Jones Street, Can Women Have One Man Shows? comprises Yankowitz's Draped Paintings and Pleated Paintings series, bodies of work spanning the 1960s and 70s in which the artist created unstretched canvases hanging in loose folds, eschewing the conventional use of rigid frames and stretcher bars.

A mother and son were trying to straighten out a ticket purchase and she repeatedly asked her son, 'Do you really want to see this? Do you really want to see this?'
