Geffen Playhouse today announced six productions that will make up the 2020/2021 season in its Gil Cates and Audrey Skirball Kenis Theaters, with two additional productions to be announced. As the Halloween season comes to a close, Freeform will continue to be the home for all holiday viewing with the second year of the “Kickoff to Christmas” programming event, starting on Friday, Nov. 1. With a month full of holiday fun, this year will also include two new Freeform originals. The film “Turkey Drop,” from Muse Entertainment, will air Saturday, Nov. 23, at 9:00-11:00 p.m. EST/PST. The original holiday competition series, “Wrap Battle,” will air Monday, Nov. 25, at 9:00-11:00 p.m. EST/PST.

The Broadway community mourns the loss of prolific producer, director, writer, and the individual recipient of the most Tony Awards in multiple categories in history, Harold Prince, who passed away on July 31, 2019 at age 91. To commemorate his life and work, the Committee of Theatre Owners will dim the lights of Broadway theatres in New York for one minute on Wednesday, July 31 at exactly 7:45pm.
