Midsommer Flight, a professional not-for-profit theatre company that was one of five Finalists for this year's League of Chicago Theatres Emerging Theatre Award, is staging Shakespeare's Twelfth Night for the third consecutive holiday season, complete with its acclaimed musical score. The comedy is being performed in the Show House room at the Lincoln Park Conservatory, 2391 N. Stockton Drive, for three weekends - from November 30 December 17, 2017. The production is part of Mayor Rahm Emanuel's Night Out in the Parks initiative that provides world-class performances in Chicago's neighborhood parks throughout the year.

The FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training continues its 2017-18 season with Stephen Adly Giurgis' The Motherf***er with the Hat: a dark comedy about addiction, betrayal, and revenge. The Motherf***er with the Hat opens on Wednesday, January 3 and plays through January 21 in the Cook Theatre in the FSU Center for the Performing Arts. A special pay-what-you-can preview will be offered to the public on Tuesday, January 2 at 7:30 p.m. with a $3 minimum.

Austrian Stage presents the US and English-language premiere of In the Dead Mountains, a staged reading of the absurd drama by Austrian playwright Thomas Arzt. The performance will be followed by a talk with translator Neil Blackadder, director Guy Ben-Aharon, and Jacob M. Appel, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey wraps its 2017 season with a delightful adaptation of a treasured holiday film, It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. After a successful staged reading of the play in 2016, director Doug West returns to direct this new take on a beloved tale. Adapter Joe Landry has brought the 1946 film to the stage where he has gathered a troupe of radio actors and live Foley sound artists to perform It's a Wonderful Life in a 1940s radio station. Performances begin on November 30. Patrons can purchase tickets at The F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre located at 36 Madison Avenue, Madison, by calling the Box Office at 973-408-5600 or by going online at www.ShakespeareNJ.org.

The UK Premiere of There or Here, from the producers of the 2013 hit Yellow Face (Park Theatre/National Theatre transfer), will open the PARK90 2018 season. With a cast that includes Rakhee Thakrar (EastEnders), Jennifer Maisel's dramatic comedy follows the journey of an inter-racial American couple who return to the country of his roots to outsource their pregnancy.
