Circle Theatre's 30th Anniversary Season continues with the Southwest premiere of Seven in One Blow, or The Brave Little Kid, an adapted children's play conceived and written by Randy Sharp and Axis Company.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has announced the cast and creative team for the world premiere of HORSEDREAMS, a new play written by and featuring award-winning and Pulitzer Prize finalist, Dael Orlandersmith. The third production of the company's 17th season, performances of HORSEDREAMS will begin Wednesday, November 9th at Rattlestick Theater (224 Waverly Place - off Seventh Avenue South, between Perry & West 11th Streets). The official opening night is set for Thursday, November 17th. The production is scheduled to run through December 11th. Gordon Edelstein directs.

The Town Hall's Seventh Annual Broadway Cabaret Festival continues with Elaine Stritch at The Town Hall on Saturday, October 22nd at 8pm and A Tribute to Judy Garland and The Art of American Dance on Friday, October 28th at 8pm. The festival is created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel and is presented in a new format of three consecutive weeks. (Broadway Originals! took place on Sunday, October 16th).

Michael Reidel reports in the New York Post this morning that Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson star Benjamin Walker will be back in the New York theater loop when he leads a reading of Bus Stop next month as cowboy Bo Decker. Amanda Seyfried will co-star alongside Walker as Cherie. Shuler Hensley will also participate. Hollywood's Paula Wagner, who owns the rights to the project will produce. Scott Ellis directs. A revival of Bus Stop is reportedly bound for Broadway.

The Neo-Futurists announce their 23rd season to include Chalk and Saltwater: The Ladder Project by John Pierson, Burning Bluebeard by Jay Torrence, and The Strange and Terrible True Story of Pinocchio (the wooden boy) as Told by Frankenstein's Monster (the wretched creature) by Greg Allen. Also on the books is another great year of the smash hit, Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind.
