The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is once again offering audience members a dazzling, star-packed lineup of amazing shows, memorable concerts, insightful lectures and very special events during the months of March and April.

Vanessa Williams, multi-faceted star of Broadway, film, music videos and television, brings her award-winning talents to Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, April 7, at 8 p.m.

Leon Botstein will lead the American Symphony Orchestra in Luigi Nono's opera Intolleranza 1960, the final performance this season in the ASO's four-concert Vanguard series, on Thursday, March 1, 8 PM at Carnegie Hall. The program is part of the series' season-long theme examining the music composers have created under varied political leaderships.

Ireland's honorary musical ambassadors, The Chieftains, will bring the Emerald Isle sound to Scottsdale a few weeks ahead of St. Patrick's Day with a performance at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 27, in the Virginia G. Piper Theater at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.

The Pacific Standard Time Festival: Live Art LA/LA, a celebration of performance art presented as part of the Getty-led initiative Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, will run from January 11 through 21, 2018. Organized by REDCAT, CalArts' Center for Contemporary Arts, in collaboration with partner organizations throughout the city, the 11-day festival will feature more than 75 works by Latin American and Latino artists, performed at more than 20 indoor and outdoor spaces throughout greater Los Angeles. Reimagining great popular music of the past 40 years is the goal of Songbook: Steven Page and the Art of Time Ensemble. Page, co-founder and former lead singer of Barenaked Ladies, and Art of Time, an acoustic instrumental ensemble, will present their takes on contemporary songs at the Virginia G. Piper Theater at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts at 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9. The Toronto-based musicians will perform inventive arrangements of well-known rock and pop songs.
