Primary Stages has announced the lineup of guests for talkbacks that will happen after select shows of their first production of the 2017/18 season, the New York Premiere of THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO THOMAS JEFFERSON, CHARLES DICKENS AND COUNT LEO TOLSTOY: DISCORD written by Scott Carter and directed by Kimberly Senior.

FIVE WOMEN WEARING THE SAME DRESS is presented by Southwestern University's Sarofim School of Fine Arts. Written by Alan Ball, this comedy premiered in 1993 at New York's Manhattan Class Company. Although the play was written over twenty years ago and is set in the late 80's, it tackles many topics still relevant today. From personal issues such as love, relationships, and marriage; to societal matters like gender inequality, homophobia, and religion.

Seven more performances have been added to Tony Award winner Ivo van Hove's re-imagining of Arthur Miller's A View From the Bridge at Goodman Theatre.

The New York Times is reporting that Albee's museum-worthy collection of fine art, which includes works by Arp, Kandinsky, and more, will be sold at auction. The money will then be donated to The Edward Albee Foundation, an institution that provides residency to emerging artists in Montauk. The collection is valued at over $9 million.

The Hollywood Bowl has announced the cast and creative team for a benefit performance of SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, conceived and directed on Broadway by James Lapine.

ArtsWest Artistic Director Mathew Wright has announced his third season, running September 2017 through July 2018. Opening with Pulitzer Prize-winner Ayad Akhtar's THE WHO AND THE WHAT, the six-production season will feature five Seattle premieres and a Tony-award winning musical.

The production will open on Wednesday 6 September in Cambridge before touring to Bath and Kingston, with national press night on Wednesday 27 September at Theatre Royal Bath. Thirteen new independent feature projects from Cuba, Chile, Kenya, the UK and the U.S. have been selected for the 2017 Sundance Institute Directors and Screenwriters Labs in Utah's Wasatch Mountains.
