Bill Hanney's award-winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) continues the 2018 Musical Season with the family favorite musical, PETER PAN, set to take flight beginning on Tuesday, July 10 and playing through Sunday, July 22.

For actor Scott Moreau, playing Johnny Cash in the opening production of Maine State Music Theatre's 60th anniversary season is a very special homecoming. The Maine native who grew up in Litchfield says this is the fifth time he will have done the Million Dollar Quartet in Maine (previously in Portland and Bangor on the national tour and twice in Ogunquit), but that "Brunswick is much different!"

After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles and Sacramento, Broadway Sacramento has confirmed casting for the six shows in the 68th Broadway At Music Circus season. The Bangor Symphony Orchestra's annual Pops concert is coming up on March 18th, 4pm, at the Collins Center for the Arts. This year, it's all about Oz! Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2018. To honor this milestone, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Tim Rice and The Musical Company are teaming up with the Educational Theatre Association to grant five deserving schools a FREE standard rental and royalty license to produce this irresistible family musical.

William Peace Theatre turns to comedy for the third installment of its 2017-18 season, Alan Ball's 1993 Five Women Wearing the Same Dress. The production runs five performances February 15 - 18 in Leggett Theatre in the Main Building of the William Peace University campus.

GYPSY has announced its cast and creative team at the Lyric Stage Company of Boston.

The 67th Music Circus season continues with the feel-good musical comedy Sister Act, featuring an infectious score by Tony and Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken. Based on the hit 1992 film, this musical will fill the round stage with saintly sisters for the first time in Music Circus history. Performances of Sister Act are Tuesday, August 22 through Sunday, August 27 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion.
