The fourth annual GI Film Festival San Diego is getting ready to roll from Tuesday, Sept. 25 through Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018. The American Film Institute (AFI) has appointed industry veteran Juli Goodwin as its new Chief Communications Officer. Goodwin brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing and publicity to AFI, most recently as Executive Vice President of Domestic Publicity for Warner Bros. Pictures. Goodwin will serve on AFI's senior management team, leading communications strategies for AFI's national arts and education programs.

Final casting for Berkeley Repertory Theatre's upcoming production of Fairview was announced today. Previews begin on Thursday, October 4 with regular run of the show opening on Thursday, October 11 and continuing through Sunday, November 4.
