The Hangar Theatre has announced the first ever Hangar Flight Test, a series of concert stagings of original musicals in development.  The 2022 series will consist of two workshop productions which Hangar audiences will be among the first to experience.  Writers and artistic teams will invite audiences to give feedback and become part of the development process as they prepare their scripts and scores for full scale production.

Katsura Sunshine will continue performances of Katsura Sunshine's Rakugo as part of his year-long residency at the Leicester Square Theater.  Sunshine is also preparing to simultaneously return to New York City on March 10, 2022, where the show ran for six months until COVID shut it down.  

Last month, the groundbreaking band, led by vocalist/guitarist Harrison Stafford, unveiled their first single from the upcoming album, 'Original Riddim,' featuring guest vocals from the legendary roots harmony groups ISRAEL VIBRATION and THE ABYSSINIANS. Today, Groundation presents “Human Race,” the second release from ONE ROCK.

The jukebox musical is a genre of musical theatre that is not always easy to get right. Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, which opened last night at the Kimmel Cultural Campus' Academy of Music, is an example of a jukebox musical done perfectly.

New York City singer-songwriter is hard at work on a series of singles and a potential album he is called 'The Tim Di Pasqua Project' and the first single just came out.

Co-playwrights Stan Zimmerman and Christian McLaughlin’s HAVE A GOOD ONE world premieres at the Dorie Theatre at The Complex October 2, 2021.
