This month, Motorpoint Arena Cardiff celebrates 25 years since it opened its doors in the heart of Cardiff city centre. The Arena, owned and operated by Live Nation, has brought some of the world's biggest names to Wales, from Beyonce, P!NK and Elton John to Iron Maiden, Oasis and Panic! Geva Theatre Center's 2018-2019 Fielding Studio Series begins with Fortune, written and directed by Deborah Zoe Laufer. This production comes to Geva from the Hangar Theatre in Ithaca, NY. The production begins performances on October 4 and runs in the Fielding Stage through October 21.

Exceptionally sophisticated and emotional vocalist, Maye Cavallaro has been singing classic songs since she discovered her Mother's "Sing Along with Mitch" records at age 6. By the age of nine she began borrowing from her brother's collection of vintage blues, at 10 she began studying piano, and by 12 was a huge fan of Carmen McRae, Billie Holiday, Esther Phillips and Miriam Makeba. Her eclectic and wide ranging musical tastes have continued to encompass jazz, modern pop and rock as well as classical and world music.

Ted Sperling, Artistic Director of MasterVoices, announced details of the acclaimed ensemble's 77th season, celebrating the power of the human voice to unite, inspire and connect since 1941. The upcoming season will be framed by two major musical events, the New York premiere of a multi-media version of Handel's oratorioIsrael in Egypt performed at Carnegie Hall, and a new adaptation of the Kurt Weill-Ira Gershwin-Moss Hart avant-garde musical, Lady in the Dark, starring Victoria Clark at New York City Center. Lady in the Dark has not been seen in New York since it was presented at New York City Center in 1994 as part of the inaugural Encores! season.

Driven by the success of Sunday's season premiere of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' and 'Very Cavallari,' E! ranked as the #1 ad-supported cable network in primetime among P18-34 and was the most social entertainment network of the night, according to Nielsen. The season premiere of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians,' which saw Kim and her sister Kourtney disagree over scheduling their annual holiday card photo shoot, delivered 2.2 million total viewers, 1.4 million P18-49 and 785,000 P18-34, ranking as the #1 cable program of the night among all key demos. The series was also the #1 most social entertainment program of the night, on broadcast or cable, garnering 586,488 total interactions across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Additionally, the latest episode of 'Very Cavallari' earned a season to-date high among all key demos garnering 910,000 total viewers, 661,000 P18-49, and 372,000 P18-34, up 29 percent, 34 percent and 65 percent respectively, from the prior week (7/29/18), marking the fourth consecutive week of growth among P18-49 and total viewers. The series has also garnered nearly 500,000 total views per episode on video on demand platforms through the first four episodes.

Disney Digital Network today premiered the latest special from "Club Mickey Mouse" featuring two new songs, original dance videos, and a cameo appearance from former Mouseketeer, JC Chasez. In the special, the Mouseketeers celebrate the end of summer before heading back to "Club Mickey High School" under the surprise leadership of "Principal Chasez." Walt Disney Records will distribute both singles, "Summer is a Vibe" and "Ready Set Go," and music videos through online music stores.

Music at Kohl Mansion has announced the lineup for its 2018-2019 season of chamber concerts in Burlingame's historic Kohl Mansion, opening Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 7 pm. The series will mark its 36th year with eight concerts, featuring five returning audience favorite ensembles and three debut ensembles. Music at Kohl Mansion will welcome back the Alexander String Quartet, the Miro Quartet, the Trio con Brio Copenhagen, the Israeli Chamber Project, and the Trio Solisti. Making their debuts on the Kohl stage this season will be the Aeolus Quartet, the Music of Remembrance Ensemble, and the Gryphon Trio.
