Hampstead Theatre announces a new version of Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya by Terry Johnson and casting for the world premiere of The Hoes.

The Louis Armstrong Educational Foundation proudly presents the 8th SATCHMO Award to: jazz vocalist and songwriter Ms. Sheila Jordan. LAEF is returning to the historic Alhambra Ball Room in Harlem, where swing dancers, big bands and jazz vocalists once reigned supreme – Friday October 12th 8:00 – 10:00pm. 

Atlantic recording artist Gucci Mane and international DJ/producer Carnage have announced plans for a major North American co-headlining tour. The Unusual Suspects Tour – with support from Florida rapper Smokepurpp – gets underway on November 7th at Myth Live in St. Paul, Minnesota, and comes to an end on December 7th in San Francisco at the historic Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.  Tickets for all dates of The Unusual Suspects Tour go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, September 28th at 10am (local).

Geva Theatre Center's 2018-2019 Fielding Studio Series begins with Fortune, written and directed by Deborah Zoe Laufer. This production comes to Geva from the Hangar Theatre in Ithaca, NY. The production begins performances on October 4 and runs in the Fielding Stage through October 21.

Grammy winning singer / songwriter, John Berry, celebrated his new single, “Beautifully Broken,” the title track for the exhilarating new feature film of the same name at the red carpet VIP Premiere Monday evening. The single has been #1 on the Christian Music Weekly Chart for 5 weeks and in the top ten since charting 23 weeks ago. “Beautifully Broken” is currently at #34 on the MusicRow Country Charts and continues to rise, breaking a 22 year stretch for charting a single on radio. The season premiere of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians,' which saw Kim and her sister Kourtney disagree over scheduling their annual holiday card photo shoot, delivered 2.2 million total viewers, 1.4 million P18-49 and 785,000 P18-34, ranking as the #1 cable program of the night among all key demos. The series was also the #1 most social entertainment program of the night, on broadcast or cable, garnering 586,488 total interactions across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Additionally, the latest episode of 'Very Cavallari' earned a season to-date high among all key demos garnering 910,000 total viewers, 661,000 P18-49, and 372,000 P18-34, up 29 percent, 34 percent and 65 percent respectively, from the prior week (7/29/18), marking the fourth consecutive week of growth among P18-49 and total viewers. The series has also garnered nearly 500,000 total views per episode on video on demand platforms through the first four episodes.

Disney Digital Network today premiered the latest special from "Club Mickey Mouse" featuring two new songs, original dance videos, and a cameo appearance from former Mouseketeer, JC Chasez. In the special, the Mouseketeers celebrate the end of summer before heading back to "Club Mickey High School" under the surprise leadership of "Principal Chasez." Walt Disney Records will distribute both singles,  "Summer is a Vibe" and "Ready Set Go," and music videos through online music stores.

Music at Kohl Mansion has announced the lineup for its 2018-2019 season of chamber concerts in Burlingame's historic Kohl Mansion, opening Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 7 pm. The series will mark its 36th year with eight concerts, featuring five returning audience favorite ensembles and three debut ensembles. Music at Kohl Mansion will welcome back the Alexander String Quartet, the Miro Quartet, the Trio con Brio Copenhagen, the Israeli Chamber Project, and the Trio Solisti. Making their debuts on the Kohl stage this season will be the Aeolus Quartet, the Music of Remembrance Ensemble, and the Gryphon Trio.

Grammy winning singer-songwriter, John Berry continues to celebrate his 25th Anniversary since signing his major label deal and moving from Athens, Ga., to pursue his recording career in Nashville, Tenn. John brought the show back to the city where it all began for a full band performance at The Foundry in Athens, Ga., for a Homecoming Celebration.
