The story of Cinderella has been presented in many forms throughout the history of entertainment.  Each has enchanted audiences of all ages. There was the classic Disney cartoon, the Rodgers and Hammerstein television adaptation that has since become a stage musical, a few television remakes, and the famed London pantomimes. No matter which version of the story you've seen, there is something about a common girl's quest for true love that gets us every time.

Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical soars into the Capitol Center for the Arts (Concord, NH) on Tuesday, December 4. The story tells the tale of a young Rudolph who, because of the appearance of his bright, shining nose, is excluded from the Reindeer Games. He flees Christmastown and meets up with new friends Hermey the Elf and Yukon Cornelius. After finding The Island of Misfit Toys, Rudolph journeys home, where a snowstorm of epic proportions is threatening Christmas. Can Rudolph rescue his family and friends and help Santa save the holiday?

Executive and Artistic Director Keith Gerth and Associate Artistic Director Stephen Smith announce Oil Lamp Theater's 2018 holiday show, It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play by Joe Landry. This special presentation, directed by Keith Gerth, will be performed from November 29 through December 30, 2018 - with extra Saturday matinees and Sunday evening performances added -- at 1723 Glenview Road, Glenview.

Clint Black and The 959 Group are thrilled to announce the new Clint Black musical, Looking for Christmas, will embark on a holiday tour in the 2019-20 season. The country music icon's new American musical will make its world premiere November 20, 2018 at The Old Globe in San Diego. Tour cities and dates will be announced at a later date.

Make or continue a holiday tradition! Holiday Pops returns to the historic Capitol Center for the Arts in Downtown Concord on Sunday, December 23. The festive annual event features performances from the Capital Jazz Orchestra, guest vocalists CJ Poole and Laura Daigle, and narrator Laura Knoy of NHPR who will be reciting her traditional version of 'The Night Before Christmas.'  The performance is sponsored by Northeast Delta Dental. 

Kick off the holidays with craziness! Continuing the series by Anthony Wilkinson, Pandora Productions proudly presents MY BIG GAY ITALIAN CHRISTMAS. We've had a Wedding, a Funeral, a Mid-Life Crisis and now the insanity that is the Pinnunziato family comes a holiday installment. Pandora is thrilled to be the first theatre company in the country to present Mr. Wilkinson's work. Pandora will host the playwright during the run of his show in Louisville on Saturday, November 17th with a reception following the performance.

AMC has viewers covered this holiday season with “AMC Best Christmas Ever,” its largest slate of holiday programming ever featuring 35 films and 18 specials, airing all day, every day. Beginning Monday, November 26 through Christmas Day, the monthlong programming marathon will offer up more than 600 hours of holiday-themed movies, specials and family favorite films, as well as the television debut of Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas is You (2017). San Francisco Playhouse celebrates the magic of the holiday season with the hit Broadway musical Mary Poppins. Susi Damilano will direct the Playhouse production, with music direction by Katie Coleman and choreography by Kimberly Richards.

The December events presented by Great Music at St. Bart's are among New Yorkers' favorite holiday traditions: seasonal music in the beautiful spaces of St. Bartholomew's Church. Park Square Theatre has partnered with The Daniel Group to bring the 23-year phenomenon Triple Espresso-A Highly Caffeinated Comedy to Park Square's Andy Boss Thrust Stage November 9, 2018 - January 13, 2019. "This partnership will bring together two amazingly loyal audiences to experience downtown Saint Paul's parks, restaurants, music venues, skating rinks and hotels where they will be spangled with twinkling white lights and good cheer," says Park Square Executive Director Michael-jon Pease.

Clint Black's Looking for Christmas, inspired by the country music legend's 1995 chart-topping holiday album, features music and lyrics by Clint Black, book by James D. Sasser with Black, and music supervision and music direction by Matt Hinkley, and is directed by Kent Nicholson. Clint Black's Looking for Christmas begins performances on November 11 and has just been extended by popular demand through the holidays, running until Monday, December 31 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Theatrical Outfit continues its 2018-2019 Season of Beauty with the return of our smash holiday hit, Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, Decatur native Lauren Gunderson and co-writer Margot Melcon's sparkling and romantic sequel to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. This year, four new actors join the cast - three of whom will make their Theatrical Outfit debuts. San Francisco Opera presents the West Coast premiere of It's a Wonderful Life by composer Jake Heggie and librettist Gene Scheer in nine holiday-season performances from November 17 through December 9. The two-act work, a co-commission and co-production between San Francisco Opera, Houston Grand Opera and the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, is based in part on Frank Capra's 1946 film It's a Wonderful Life and The Greatest Gift, a story by Philip Van Doren Stern.

The Apollo Theater and SiriusXM announced today that they will present Say It Loud…With Your VOTE!, a bi-partisan political special at the Apollo on Thursday, November 1 at 7:00 pm.  The exclusive event, produced in association with SiriusXM, is part of the Apollo Theater Uptown Hall series and will air across multiple SiriusXM channels debuting on November 2.
