The December events presented by Great Music at St. Bart's are among New Yorkers' favorite holiday traditions: seasonal music in the beautiful spaces of St. Bartholomew's Church. A Joyous Christmas Concert (December 11) offers choral, orchestral, and organ music of the season along with a Christmas carol sing-in; Adoration of the Magi (December 14) is an intimate visual and musical celebration of the holidays in the St. Bart's Chapel; and A Concert To Usher In the New Year( December 31), a holiday gift to the city, is a late evening organ concert and post-concert toast, that is free to the public (details below).

Park Square Theatre has partnered with The Daniel Group to bring the 23-year phenomenon Triple Espresso-A Highly Caffeinated Comedy to Park Square's Andy Boss Thrust Stage November 9, 2018 - January 13, 2019. "This partnership will bring together two amazingly loyal audiences to experience downtown Saint Paul's parks, restaurants, music venues, skating rinks and hotels where they will be spangled with twinkling white lights and good cheer," says Park Square Executive Director Michael-jon Pease.

The Old Globe will expand San Diego's celebration of the holidays with a world premiere American musical about family, faith, and the magic of Christmas. Clint Black's Looking for Christmas, inspired by the country music legend's 1995 chart-topping holiday album, features music and lyrics by Clint Black, book by James D. Sasser with Black, and music supervision and music direction by Matt Hinkley, and is directed by Kent Nicholson. Clint Black's Looking for Christmas begins performances on November 11 and has just been extended by popular demand through the holidays, running until Monday, December 31 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Theatrical Outfit continues its 2018-2019 Season of Beauty with the return of our smash holiday hit, Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, Decatur native Lauren Gunderson and co-writer Margot Melcon's sparkling and romantic sequel to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. This year, four new actors join the cast - three of whom will make their Theatrical Outfit debuts. San Francisco Opera presents the West Coast premiere of It's a Wonderful Life by composer Jake Heggie and librettist Gene Scheer in nine holiday-season performances from November 17 through December 9. The two-act work, a co-commission and co-production between San Francisco Opera, Houston Grand Opera and the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, is based in part on Frank Capra's 1946 film It's a Wonderful Life and The Greatest Gift, a story by Philip Van Doren Stern.

The Apollo Theater and SiriusXM announced today that they will present Say It Loud…With Your VOTE!, a bi-partisan political special at the Apollo on Thursday, November 1 at 7:00 pm.  The exclusive event, produced in association with SiriusXM, is part of the Apollo Theater Uptown Hall series and will air across multiple SiriusXM channels debuting on November 2.

In NoHo this season the Troubies turn up the heat on their annual holiday send-up on the Debbie Reynolds Mainstage at the historic El Portal Theatre.  The band will be pumping and hips will be swinging as the Ovation Award winning, Los Angeles-based Troubadour Theater Company presents The Year Without a Santana Claus, a musical parody which fuses the music of Carlos Santana and the Rankin & Bass 70's claymation TV special The Year Without A Santa Claus.  The company's Master of Mayhem and Artistic Director Matt Walker directs.
