High School Musical

For my fourteenth birthday, I got to see High School Musical on stage, followed by a backstage tour of East High. I came home astounded that people got to make theatre for a job. It was that show that made me realise I wanted to work in theatre, so being offered the role of costume designer felt like a complete full-circle moment.

McFly's Harry Judd will take over as Coach Bolton for the final two performances of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL at Lowry, Salford on September 19, 2026, before the production transfers to London.

McFly drummer Harry Judd will play Coach Bolton in the London transfer of Disney's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, taking over the role from Jason Donovan following a Salford run.

KayCee Stroh, who played Martha Cox in the High School Musical movie franchise, will star in Disney’s HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL as Ms Darbus, joining Jason Donovan, Tobias Turley, Leonor Correia, Caitlin Tipping and Luke Bayer.
