Legendary Tony Award winners, a three-time Emmy Award nominee, an Oscar winner and an iconic Disney princess are among the stage and screen stars coming together for Broadway Backwards, the theatre community's annual gender-bending celebration of love and the LGBT community.

The epic story returns. Tony Kushner's two-part play, ANGELS IN AMERICA makes its way back to Broadway tonight! A cast led by Tony nominee Andrew Garfield and two-time Tony winner Nathan Lane will begin previews tonight at the Neil Simon Theatre with Part 1: Millennium Approaches. As previously reported by BroadwayWorld, crooner Harry Connick Jr. will return to the theatre this spring in Paper Mill Playhouse's pre-Broadway production of THE STING. In honor of his upcoming star return in the world premiere musical, we've rounded up some of Connick's past performances of Broadway songs!

Sarah Soetaert, Josefina Gabrielle and Ruthie Henshall will be joining Oscar winner, Cuba Gooding Jr, in the multi award-winning CHICAGO at the Phoenix Theatre in London's West End. Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director), recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, has announced today Harry Connick, Jr. will star as Henry Gondorff in the world-premiere production of The Sting.  The musical is based on the 1973 film, and will have its world premiere at Paper Mill Playhouse for a limited run from March 29 through April 29, 2018, with book by Bob Martin, music and lyrics by Mark Hollmann &Greg Kotis with Harry Connick, Jr.  In addition, the score will contain music by Scott Joplin including 'The Entertainer.'
