Nashville Tears, Songs by Hugh Prestwood, to be Released 4/24

British vocalist RUMER's take on “The Song Remembers When,” is out now. The country ballad, previously a hit single for Trisha Yearwood, is the latest from Nashville Tears, which features the songs of Hugh Prestwood, a Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee. It is the 3rd advance track, after “Bristlecone Pine” and “Hard Times For Lovers,” available early with album pre-order before the release of Nashville Tears on April 24 with Cooking Vinyl.

Innsbrook After Hours announced that Aaron Lewis will perform June 24th at the SERVPRO of Richmond Pavilion, Get The Led Out will perform on August 6th, and Train will perform August 14th. Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 21st at 10:00 AM at www.innsbrookafterhours.com. A limited number of early bird general admission tickets for each show will be available for one week.

Valery Gergiev To Return to the New York Philharmonic

Russian conductor Valery Gergiev will return to the New York Philharmonic to conduct Rodion Shchedrin's Concerto for Orchestra No. 1, Naughty Limericks, the Philharmonic's first time performing the work; Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3, with Denis Matsuev as soloist; and Stravinsky's Petrushka (1911 version). The program will take place Thursday, March 12, 2020, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, March 13 at 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday, March 14 at 8:00 p.m.

The venerated Los Angeles-based Lula Washington Dance Theatre returned to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts to celebrate its milestone 40th anniversary with a dynamic and powerful program exploring social and humanitarian issues from January 30 through February 1 in the Bram Goldsmith Theater. The program, which launched The Lula Washington Dance Theatre's year-long anniversary celebration, included three world premieres and a West Coast premiere, with new works from new voices, some of whom are a generation younger than co-founders Lula and Erwin Washington, which mixed jazz, hip-hop, African movement, ballet, modern, tap and other dance styles to perfection.
