Jobsite Theater, resident theater company at the Straz Center, is thrilled will kick off its 24th season with this hilarious comedy from the original “wild and crazy guy,” Steve Martin.

In partnership this summer, TOSOS and Iconoclast will bring to the stage, first, during Gay Pride Month, Grindr The Opera, followed by TOSOS's presentation of Robert Macke's House Of Chavis in July. Grindr The Opera is Erik Ransom's original, operatic parody about the hook-up app that changed gay life as we know it.

Goodspeed Musicals will kick off its first full season of musicals since 2019 with the spring production of Kander and Ebb’s dazzling and daring classic, Cabaret. The Kit Kat Klub comes alive for the first time on the Goodspeed stage from May 13 – July 3 at The Goodspeed in East Haddam, Conn.

MY FAIR LADY, brimming with familiar musical standards, stars Laird Mackintosh as Professor Higgins and Shereen Ahmed as Eliza Doolittle. Had the chance to catch Laird during his offstage time before his evening performance.

The show will be available to stream on a strictly limited basis for three performance times only: Thursday, October 15 at 8:00 PM; Saturday, October 17 at 8:00 PM; and Sunday, October 18 at 3:00 PM.

These artists may not be showcasing their work as performers, but they sure are making the grade when it comes to teaching others how to succeed in show business with the right technique.
