This 1968 Tony Award–winning musical from legendary Golden Age collaborators Jule Styne and Arthur Laurents (Gypsy) and Betty Comden and Adolph Green (Singin’ in the Rain) traces the journey of both a rising star and a changing America. At its center is Georgina, a determined young Black woman pursuing ambition, identity, and love across decades of the 20th century—without aging a day.
