The hit musical inspired by the life of rock legend Marc Bolan, 20th Century Boy, returns to the stage on a UK-wide tour to mark the 40th anniversary of the iconic star's untimely death. Novato Theater Company continues its 2017-208 season with Chicago, Broadway's longest-running American musical, with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and book by Ebb and Bob Fosse. Set in Prohibition-era Chicago, the musical is based on a 1926 play about actual criminals and their crimes. The story is a satire on corruption in the administration of criminal justice and the concept of the 'celebrity criminal'. Chicago includes memorable songs like 'All that Jazz,' 'When You're Good to Mama,' and 'All I Care About is Love.'
