TheaterWorks Hartford, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Rob Ruggiero, has announced details for its upcoming 2022–2023 season which is filled with great music, captivating stories, and world-class writing.

Boston Ballet Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen announces the 2022–2023 season roster. The roster includes a diverse roster of dancers from around the world with 63 professional dancers. Five new dancers join the main company, six new dancers join Boston Ballet II (BBII), Boston Ballet’s second company, and eight Boston Ballet dancers received promotions for the upcoming season.

At an annual meeting held on July 26, the Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund), the national human services organization for everyone in performing arts and entertainment, welcomed five new members to its Board of Trustees and reelected Tony Award-winning actor Brian Stokes Mitchell as Chair, his nineteenth term of serving in this role.

Award-winning Broadway playwright Theresa Rebeck will write the book for the Broadway-aimed Working Girl. While she's had more plays produced on Broadway than any female playwright of our time, Working Girl would mark Rebeck's Broadway debut as a book writer for a musical.

The cast has been announced for the Roundabout Underground world premiere of the bandaged place by Harrison David Rivers. The Mississippi Museum of Art will present Jamal Cyrus: The End of My Beginning, the first museum survey of celebrated Houston-born artist Jamal Cyrus (b.1973). On view from October 29, 2022 - March 3, 2023, the exhibition spans 15 formative years of Cyrus's multidisciplinary practice from 2005 to 2020.

The sixth week of the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival 2022 welcomes New Zealand-based company Black Grace to the Ted Shawn Theatre, from July 27-31.
