Vassar & New York Stage and Film have announced a few of the projects tapped for the upcoming 32nd Powerhouse Season, the annual summer season which stages full productions of new plays, workshop presentations of new plays and musicals, and readings of other works in progress, among other developmental programming.

Daniel Costello, a retired NYPD police officer, has completed his new book 'Penny Doctors': a gripping and intriguing story detailing the atrocities committed to unsuspecting masses in the 1920's and 30's.

Although it has been revived in New York three times - twice on Broadway and once Off-Broadway - and is frequently produced by community and school groups, ANYTHING GOES has not been seen in its original form since it closed on Broadway in 1935.  The original 1934 version of ANYTHING GOES will set sail at Lyric Stage June 17-26, 2016 in the Irving Arts Center's Carpenter Performance Hall.  Tickets are available online @ www.lyricstage.org or by calling 972-252-2787.
