Country music royalty and a fifty-one year member of the Grand Ole Opry, Jeannie Seely, took the stage on Friday, December 14 at Lipscomb University's Allen Arena for the Fifth Annual Nashville Senior Christmas ShinnDig for a very special performance of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" and "I'll Be Home For Christmas." Seely also joined Tim Atwood on his performance of "Something About that Name". Performers in addition to Seely and Atwood included Kathie Lee Gifford, Charlie McCoy, Julie Roberts, Matt Bagher, Paul Allen Coon and Sarah Martin.

'One of my questions after reading the play was, 'Do you have to feel guilty in order to go to heaven, so you won't ever have to feel guilt again?' I think Del Shores grapples with that theme, so there is a lot of gut-wrenching guilt presented here. Within the self-loathing there are opportunities for seeing irony, folly and some bits of joy.'

Cheers and boos from the raucous crowd filled Burhanuddin Stadium. BIG RIG, a stubby robot clad in yellow, threw a hefty punch at B-BOP. The latter, a three-headed robotic monstrosity, easily parried the attack. Its looming build countered with a direct hit at its opponent, smashing it against the rink. Rajit, B-BOP's owner and controller, whooped in victory.
