For the first time in its 136-year history, the one-and-only Boston Pops, under the direction of Keith Lockhart, is presenting its spring season completely online, bringing the style and energy cherished by audiences at its live concerts at Symphony Hall to an online season filled with a wide-ranging spectrum of musical offerings.

Barrington Stage Company will produce a 2021 season that will feature four productions staged indoors at the theatre’s Boyd-Quinson Stage (30 Union Street) and three productions which will be staged outdoors under a tent at BSC’s Production Center (34 Laurel Street).

Theater for the New City's Village Halloween Costume Ball, a revered Village tradition that frequently welcomes over 1,200 revelers, will be presented virtually this year with most of its key traditions preserved. Spring 2020 programs have been announced at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.

The Washington Ballet's beloved production of The Nutcracker returns to THEARC Theater November 23-24 and at the historic Warner Theatre November 30-December 29, 2019. Set to Tchaikovsky's magical score, this celebrated holiday favorite has become the signature Nutcracker in our nation's capital. With 40 performances and special events for families and military personnel, 45,000 patrons will enjoy The Nutcracker this season.

Justin Sayre's camp-horror-soap-opera, twelve-episode serial RAVENSWOOD MANOR will take the Celebration Theatre stage beginning October 17, 2019 for a six-week run. The University of Hawai'i at Mānoa's Department of Theatre and Dance and Kennedy Theatre will be hosting a celebration of the life and career of Terence a?oeTerrya?? The Sleeping Beauty Soiree - a fundraiser hosted by the Women's Committee of The Washington Ballet - raised $140,000 the evening of Friday, February 8 to benefit the company's artistic programs. Over 250 guests were transported through a magical forest and into Princess Aurora's 16th birthday celebration at the Homer Building in downtown Washington, D.C. The enchanted world of The Sleeping Beauty complete with heralding trumpeters, dueling knights, courtiers, singers from the Washington Revels and costumed dancers from The Washington Ballet provided a medieval backdrop that paired with a gourmet buffet, signature cocktails, and dancing.

The Washington Ballet will debut its full length version of the breathtakingly iconic ballet The Sleeping Beauty February 27-March 3, 2019 at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Set to Tchaikovsky's enchanting score, this fairy tale of true love that conquers all and the power of good over evil comes to life through the beauty of classical dance, with Princess Aurora, her dashing Prince and other quintessential storybook characters.
