From Nov. 17 through 20, 2022, Roy and Edna Disney CalArts Theater (REDCAT), CalArts' center for contemporary arts in downtown Los Angeles, and The Broad Museum present the international debut of artist William Kentridge's durational performance, Houseboy by Ferdinand OYONO, developed at The Centre for the Less Good Idea in Johannesburg, South Africa.

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of composer György Ligeti in 2023, violist ROSE WOLLMAN's newly released album weaves the past and present together to cast Ligeti's monumental Sonata for Viola Solo (1991-1994) in a new light.

Craft Recordings celebrates the 60th anniversary of Vince Guaraldi’s Jazz Impressions of Black Orpheus, with a variety of reissues. A deluxe, expanded edition of the 1962 album—featuring “Cast Your Fate to the Wind”—offers 16 bonus tracks, including 12 previously unreleased selections, with outtakes and alternate takes of tracks on the album.

Recorded live to tape in Nashville with some of the city’s biggest names—the aforementioned Gill, David Rawlings, Stuart Duncan, and Dennis Crouch—Schneider’s inaugural record is a testament to tradition, timelessness, and the modern relevance of old ways. As a whole, the record is a testament to the necessity of looking at the past.

The two-CD length album seeks to highlight diverse LGBTQIA+ voices and perspectives, through revelatory performances of important songs by some of today’s leading composers, including the world premiere recording of Ben Moore’s Love Remained in a new version for tenor, and the commissioned title work, No Choice but Love.
