Haydn Gwynne will make her Chichester debut in the title role of HEDDA TESMAN by Cordelia Lynn, after Henrik Ibsen. Holly Race Roughan directs this co-production with Headlong and The Lowry, running at the Minerva Theatre from 30 August - 28 September.

Red Bull Theater Founding Artistic Director, Jim Bredeson - Red Bull Managing Director, and the Board of Trustees of Red Bull Theater are pleased to announce that the Eleventh Annual Running of the Red Bulls Gala Benefit on Monday June 3rd, at 6pm, will celebrate the company's 16th Season and honor director Daniel Sullivan, actor Condola Rashad, and the American Theatre Wing with the 2019 Matador Awards for Excellence in Classical Theater. Proceeds from the evening support all of Red Bull Theater's programs including its Off-Broadway productions of The White Devil and Mac Beth, Revelation Readings series, and its Shakespeare in Schools initiative.

Midsommer Flight to present staged reading of CORIOLANUS at Uncommon Ground in Edgewater May 2 and 3 Midsommer Flight, the professional not-for-profit theatre company that has been bringing free Shakespeare to Chicago parks since 2012, will perform a free staged reading of CORIOLANUS on Thursday, May 2 at 7 pm and Friday, May 3 at 8 pm. Both readings will be performed at Uncommon Ground Edgewater, 1401 W. Devon Avenue. Tickets will be free, with reservations available through the Midsommer Flight website.

Freckle Productions and Rose Theatre Kingston have announced that Zog, based on the book by Julia Donaldson with illustrations by Axel Scheffler, will fly into London this Summer. Following its current world premiere UK Tour, Zog will play a limited 4-week run at Cadogan Hall from Wednesday 31 July to Sunday 25 August 2019. Tickets are on sale now.

Shakespeare Theatre Company's Artistic Director Michael Kahn invites theatre-lovers to the second event of a series of intimate conversations about his career in D.C. as he prepares to retire. Open, unrehearsed and off the record, invited speakers will swap anecdotes and share memories about Michael Kahn's 33 years directing at the Shakespeare Theatre Company. The discussions focus on three distinct eras in STC's history and chronicle D.C.'s changing theatre scene. This second Michael Kahn and Friends: Off the Record will focus primarily on the formation of the Shakespeare Theatre Company in its second location: the Lansburgh Theatre (1992-2006).

The performance features Beethoven's monumental Symphony No. 3, “Eroica,” preceded by his Coriolan Overture, Op. 62. Today, Carole Shorenstein Hays and Sonia Friedman Productions with Tom Kirdahy announced the additional casting for the West Coast Premiere of the Good Chance Theatre, National Theatre and Young Vic production of THE JUNGLE by Joe Murphy and Joe Robertson at San Francisco's Curran. Set in Europe's largest unofficial refugee camp in Calais, France, the Jungle became a temporary home for more than 10,000 people in 2015. Under the direction of Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin, the limited engagement begins Tuesday March 26, 2019 and will run through Sunday, May 19, 2019. Opening night is Thursday, April 4, 2019.
