African Premiere Of SAVE THE PEDESTALS Comes to The Baxter

Save the Pedestals, a unique, international, artistic collaboration between the Baxter Theatre Centre, Handspring Puppet Company and Halle Puppet Theatre, makes its African debut at the Baxter Flipside, for four performances only, from 28 to 30 March, at 8pm, with a matinee on Saturday, 30 March at 4pm. This follows its hugely successful world premiere in Halle, Germany, last year.

On Friday March 29th, the brilliant guitarist Steve Blum and his Molecular Organ Trio will open the Jazz at the Poli Spring Series at the Palace Theater Poli Club (100 E. Main St, Waterbury, CT). A pioneering fusion guitarist, a lifelong admirer of Wes Montgomery, and a very versatile player who has been a major asset on a countless number of sessions since the early 1970s, Blum heads a group that also features organist Akiko and drummer McClenty Hunter.

Oversoul Theatre Collective Returns To The Cape Cod Scene

Oversoul Theatre Collective is celebrating it's 25th year as a theater company by becoming active in the local theater scene after seven year hiatus from production. Formed in Mashpee by a small group of native (Wampanoag, Nipmuc, Mohawk, and Siponi) and Black actors, with the motto 'Life's A Stage, Arts for All!', the company went on to introduce Mashpee's first youth theater workshop as well as monthly coffeehouse presentations of theater, comedy and music, and full productions of plays.

Sordid Lives creator Del Shores returns to Dallas for the world premiere of his new standup show Del Shores The Sh*t Stirrer. Shores will take the stage at The Rose Room March 8, 2019 at 8pm, where he has performed numerous times and filmed three of his standup tours. Shores also filmed part of his last film A Very Sordid Wedding at the legendary room, which featured Dallas queens Cassie Nova, Krystal Summers and Edna Jean Robinson.

Violinist Dan Auerbach and pianist Joshua Pierce, two exceptional players will share the stage in a joint debut performance on February 6, 8 PM at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. Together they present an exclusive program featuring great classics: Mozart's Sonata No. 18 in G Major, K. 301, Brahms's Sonata No. 3 in D Minor, Op. 108 and Ravel's Sonata No. 2. in G Major, Op. 77. The Mozart, Ravel and Brahms sonatas are paired with the Currier's modern Aftersong and Bloch's Nigun from the Baal Shem Suite. Sarasate's Introduction and Tarantella is added to showcase violinistic display.

Palm Beach Dramaworks Presents THE SPITFIRE GRILL
