Joe's Pub at The Public is thrilled to announce a new showcase presented in association with Showtime Networks, called The SHOWTIME Salon Series, launching in May 2018. For nearly two decades, SHOWTIME and Joe's Pub have shared something significant: a commitment to producing and presenting groundbreaking programming that showcases and celebrates LGBTQ+ communities. SHOWTIME and Joe's Pub will present this yearlong initiative with monthly live shows that will feature artists ranging from Alan Cumming to Mx Justin Vivian Bond to Murray Hill to Ryan Raftery.

The Segal Centre is proud to bring the English-language world premiere of The Angel and the Sparrow to Montreal from April 15 to May 6, 2018. Rock 'n' Roll legend EDDIE BRIGATI continues his monthly residency with EDDIE BRIGATI: AFTER THE RASCALS at the Cutting Room, 44 East 32 Street, New York City. Created and directed by the legendary STEVEN VAN ZANDT and produced by STEVEN VAN ZANDT and MAUREEN VAN ZANDT, Brigati's show resumes Thursday, April 5 at 7:30 PM. Following a hugely successful tour in Spring 2017, award-winning musical Thoroughly Modern Millie will tour the UK again in 2018 opening at Richmond Theatre on Tuesday 27 March .

Joe's Pub at The Public invites a slate of world-class artists to take residence on its venerable stage. Acclaimed actor and singer Alan Cumming will descend with a two-week midnight run of his brand new show Legal Immigrant, from June 19-30. Fellow Joe's Pub favorites like Penny Arcade, Bridget Everett, Samora Abayomi Pinderhughes and Shaina Taub line the calendar with monthly performances. Plus, due to popular demand, Rob Paulsen and Randy Rogel return with an extended run of their show Animaniacs Live!, a musical revue, May 24-27.

Yale Repertory Theatre (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) presents Father Comes Home From the Wars, Parts 1, 2 & 3 by Suzan-Lori Parks, directed by Liz Diamond, March 16-April 7, at the University Theatre (222 York Street). Opening Night is Thursday, March 22. Father Comes Home From the Wars, Parts 1, 2 & 3 is a co-production with San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater, where it will play April 25-May 20.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced the nine new playwrights today for the 2018-19 Emerging Writers Group. Now in its seventh cycle, the Emerging Writers Group is an ongoing initiative that targets playwrights at the earliest stages of their career, creating an artistic home, and offering support and resources for a diverse group of up-and-coming playwrights.

Entering its fourth year, JPWG welcomes five artists - playwright and songwriter Dan Fishback, classically trained bandleader Juliette Jones, violinist and composer Dana Lyn, jazz composer and pianist Samora Abayomi Pinderhughes and cabaret darling Tori Scott - as the core group that represents the diversity and scope of the nightly programming at Joe's Pub.

Safra Theatre at the Museum of Jewish Heritage (36 Battery Place).
