Downtown Urban Arts Festival will celebrate its 20th Anniversary with James Earl Hardy's B-BOY BLUES THE PLAY. Directed by Broadway World Award nominee Christopher Burris, performances will run June 3 - 25 at Theatre Row as the centerpiece of the 2022 Festival.

This Memorial Day Weekend, the legendary Tony Award winner Chita Rivera (The Rink, Kiss of the Spider Woman) and the Tony Award nominated song-and-dance man Tony Yazbeck (On the Town) bring Broadway to the Berkshires.

Yale Repertory Theatre has announced its 2022–23 season of four plays. The season will begin with Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, running October 6–29. James Bundy, who directed Albee’s A Delicate Balance at Yale Rep in 2010, will stage this new production of the explosively comedic and harrowingly profound masterpiece. 

La MaMa, in association with Collapsable Giraffe, will present the world premiere of Object Collection’s Look Out Sh!^head Episode 3, a multidisciplinary performance inspired by Éric Rohmer’s 1980 film cycle Comédies et Proverbes, for two weeks this June.

Yale Repertory Theatre will conclude its 2022 season with Between Two Knees. The play, written by the intertribal sketch comedy troupe The 1491s and directed by Eric Ting, is presented with Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Between Two Knees will be performed May 12–June 4 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street).
