The 39th annual Banff World Media Festival (BANFF) is proud to announce Emmy and Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth* (Wicked, Hairspray Live!) will host this year's Rockie Awards Gala Ceremony featuring a star-studded line-up of award recipients. The casino welcomes Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood from Whose Line Is it Anyway on Friday, May 4, 2018. Next up, SNL alum, FOX News contributor, and noted comedian Dennis Miller will perform on Thursday, May 17th and NBC's Community star Joel McHale takes the mic on Friday, June 1th. In the heat of the summer, Comedy Central superstar Trevor Noah of the Daily Show comes to the Xcite Center for two shows on Saturday, August 4th. Armenian-American pianist Karine Poghosyan kicks off her spring California tour on Thursday, April 12th at 7pm with a solo recital showcasing the music of Aram Khachaturian at the Brand Library and Art Center in Glendale. Ms. Poghosyan, one of the world's foremost interpreters of Khachaturian's music, will be performing selections from her critically acclaimed debut release, Khachaturian Original Piano Works and Ballet Transcriptions on the Naxos Grand Piano label, featuring many of the composer's rarely heard and relatively neglected works for piano.

The Actors' Gang has announced an extension of "The New Colossus" due to strong ticket sales. The production will now continue through May 12 at The Actors' Gang Theater. The world premiere of The New Colossus began previews on February 8 and opened on February 17, 2018. SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE Returns To New York This Summer

The original producers of Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Leiber & Stoller, Broadway's longest running musical revue, announced today that the show will return to New York this summer following a limited engagement at Maine's Ogunquit Playhouse. Preview performances will begin at New York's Stage 42 (422 West 42nd Street) on July 6 and opening night is set for July 22. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, March 12 through telecharge.com and the box office will open on June 25. Casting is to be announced.

Ballet Hispanico, the nation's premier Latino dance organization, seeks experienced male and female dancers with strong classical and contemporary training. A minimum of 3-5 years of professional dance experience is required. Auditions are for 2018-2019 season contracts with excellent benefits and world travel.
