After the Wall, a multicultural, multidimensional, multidisciplinary, multimedia play about walls around the world and throughout time, takes the stage in a one night only preview at Howl! Happening. Following a sell-out season at the Abbey Theatre as part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the 1916 Easter Rising, as well as a successful Irish and US tour, The Plough and the Stars comes to the Lyric Hammersmith as a co-production with the Abbey Theatre.

Music Director Thierry Fischer and President & CEO Paul Meecham today announced the Utah Symphony's 2018-19 season, with highlights including the live recording of a Berlioz album for Hyperion Records, semi-staged performances of Bernstein's "Candide" in celebration of the composer's centennial, and a cycle of Bach's six Brandenburg Concertos paired with works by the late composer Pierre Boulez. American composer Andrew Norman will be in Salt Lake City as Composer-in-Association for performances of his works and additional activities.

MacGillivray Freeman Films today announced that Academy Award-winning actor, Morgan Freeman, will narrate America's Musical Journey,the company's newest 3D documentary for IMAX and giant screen theatres. America's Musical Journey, produced in association with Brand USA and presented by Expedia, will be opening in select museums and institutions beginning February 16 th. The film celebrates the rich cultural diversity of America as seen through the story of its music.

Bridgeport High School will be presenting the three-time Tony award winning Broadway Musical Barnum in the Bridgeport High School Theatre. This intimate evening will feature jazz icon Dee Dee Bridgewater and singing sensation W McDonald, of The Voice fame, as they pay tribute to the legendary Ella Fitzgerald in honor of her centennial. Orpheus Chamber Orchestra presents 'Fire and Light' with Norwegian trumpet virtuoso Tine Thing Helseth on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 7pm in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall. Forty musicians from three generations of Manganiyars, a caste of desert instrumentalists from Rajasthan, will perform in an illuminated 36-window 'jewel box' on Arts Centre Melbourne's State Theatre stage in the visually and musically stunning masterpiece The Manganiyar Seduction on 6 - 7 March 2018. Originally from Leduc, Alberta, just 15 minutes south of Edmonton, Hal Wesley Rogers first discovered his passion for acting after seeing the Citadel Theatre's 2006 production of Peter Pan. Rogers, now based in Vancouver, returns to his home province for the Pre-Broadway Canadian Premiere of Hadestown. The Citadel's Sydnee Bryant (fun fact: they went to the same high school!) spoke with Rogers about his role as a Worker and what it's like to appear on the Citadel stage for the first time.
