Robbie Rozelle will return to Feinstein's/54 Below to record the album on February 23 and March 1, along with special guests Maya Days (AIDA) and Bonnie Milligan (HEAD OVER HEELS). Ahead of the performances, we spoke with Rozelle by phone about SONGS FROM INSIDE MY LOCKER, how intense heading up a Kickstarter can be, and his recent BWW Cabaret Awards success.

Based on the songs of ABBA, Mamma Mia! is set on a Greek Island where a young woman named Sophie Sheridan is about to get married, and she wants her birth father to give her away. Yet, she has no idea who it is, so she invites three men who were romantically involved with her mother 20 years ago to the wedding. When they arrive to the island, Sophie's mother, Donna Sheridan, is brought back memories of love and heartbreak.

Incoming Artistic Director Simon Godwin today announces Shakespeare Theatre Company's 2019-2020 Season. Godwin's debut season highlights his artistic aspirations for the company to create high quality, exciting, inclusive theatre. Godwin states, This is not my season, but ours, everybody's season.

This incident begins a horrifying 23 months, with a total of 29 African-American children being stolen from their families and killed. Multiple suspicions lead nowhere, and under intense pressure, local police rush to find the killer before he strikes again. The city is primed to blame someone, anyone, for these cold-blooded crimes against the community. Yet decades later, no person has been tried for these murders, and the killer has never been confirmed. THE ATLANTA CHILD MURDERS premieres on Saturday, March 23rd at 10/9PM CT only on Investigation Discovery.

Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's blockbuster hit musical Evita celebrates the 40th anniversary of its 1979 Broadway debut. Staged by Andy Ferrara with musical direction by Lloyd Cooper, the tour brings together talent from around the country to perform one of the best-known musicals in history.The McCallum Theatre presents the 2019 touring production of Evita, with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, for three performances - Wednesday, February 27, at 8:00pm, and Thursday, February 28, at 2:00pm and 8:00pm.

The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at the University of British Columbia presents the inimitable, genre-defiant music of Bobby McFerrin on February 17, 2019, at 7pm in the Chan Shun Concert Hall. The concert will feature Gimme5 - McFerrin's newest band comprised of veterans from his a cappella Voicestra group Joey Blake, Dave Worm, Rhiannon, and Judi Vinar - and local choral ensemble musica intima. Nicolas Talar for Enzo Products Ltd and Adam Blanshay Productions have announced the full casting for Notre Dame de Paris. Twenty years after its Parisian debut, and after receiving international acclaim in 23 countries worldwide, the French musical is set to be performed at London Coliseum. The original French production in London will be performed with English surtitles and a live orchestra from Wednesday 23 Sunday 27 January 2019, with a national press night on Wednesday 23 January 2019 at 7pm. The London run will culminate with the 5,000th performance of the worldwide hit show.

At the end of the 1970s momentous change was afoot in Britain and the world – in society, politics, fashion and culture – and the musical landscape was also about to change forever. The guitar-driven dominance that had propelled rock and punk throughout the decade was about to end, as synthesizers signalled the sound of the future and video transformed the look of the pop charts. The 1980s were about to explode into life and nothing would be the same again.

Rock icon and musical theater star Jett Pangan ('Next to Normal,' 'Rock of Ages') will take on the title role of Sweeney Todd, also known as 'The Demon Barber of Fleet Street,' in Stephen Sondheim's popular musical 'Sweeney Todd,' which will culminate the 20th anniversary season of Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group next year.

The Killers' founding member and guitarist Dave Keuning has debuted his new single “Boat Accident.” The upbeat track and animated video showcase Keuning's knack for crafting hooks and creative visuals. “Boat Accident” gives fans yet another preview of Keuning's 14-track debut album, Prismism, which will be released on January 25, 2019. The new album, written and recorded by Dave in his San Diego home studio, was taken from hundreds of voice memos that he stockpiled while on tour with The Killers over the last decade that evolved into songs (pre-order here). February 8 will see the release via the venerable Bar/None label of Songs From Robin Hood Lane and From Memphis to New Orleans, two thought-provoking looks at an often overlooked period of Alex Chilton's long, curious career.  He was at the height of his cult star fame in the mid 1980s to mid 1990s when he made these recordings. It is some of his best most honest work oddly neglected for some time but delivered here for enthusiasts and neophytes alike. All these recordings have been out of print for decades.

The Kitchen presents iconic NYC post-punk band Bush Tetras in their last concert of 2018, sharing their first new music in over ten years-perhaps the most hard-hitting collection of songs of their career (December 15). Opening the evening is the Beijing-based, 'transnational blues' duo Gong Gong Gong, playing material from their recent US debut album, Siren.
