The producers of the 2019 UK and Ireland tour and first new production in 25 years of Jim Jacobs & Warren Casey's iconic musical GREASE are delighted to announce that Dan Partridge, Martha Kirby, Louis Gaunt and Rhianne-Louise McCaulsky will star as Danny, Sandy, Kenickie and Rizzo respectively. The yearning for something more, an unrequited love was palatable. That's called great acting.

The Boston Symphony Orchestra returns to Carnegie Hall this March for two back-to-back programs in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. In an all-Richard Strauss program on Tuesday, March 19 at 8:00 p.m., music director and conductor Andris Nelsons and the BSO are joined by world-renowned soprano Renee Fleming for the closing scene in the composer's final opera, Capriccio, on a program also including the Sextet and Moonlight Music from that opera, as well as the tone poem Also sprach Zarathustra.

Internationally renowned actor, writer, singer, producer, and director Ray Shell celebrates the 35th anniversary of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express with a special live Q&A at Spoonfed New York Country on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. Ray premiered the role of 'Rusty the Steam Engine' in the show's original West End production. Directed by Trevor Nunn with choreography by Arlene Phillips, Starlight Express opened March 27, 1984 at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in London and ran for 7,406 performances. Spoonfed New York Country is owned by Chef Randy Witherspoon, caterer for Hamilton, Wicked, Kinky Boots, among other shows.

Curator and producer Peter Musante (Andrew Schneider's YOUARENOWHERE; Blue Man Group; Trusty Sidekick's Up and Away, a groundbreaking show for kids with autism, called 'immersive theater at its most thoughtful' by the New York Times) joins West Coast physical comedienne Summer Shapiro ('raises the craft of clowning to new levels'- NYTheatre.org) to conceive of a new immersive theater festival for the entire family, inspired by the community organizing principles of Jane Jacobs. With seven new works based on true events from Greenwich Village history, the festival brings together leading NYC experimental theatre artists, musicians, physical comedians and clowns for two programs, each consisting of an interactive pre-show and four short stories that bring the surrounding neighborhood to life. The event, recommended for ages 5 and up, is presented by New Ohio Theatre as part of its Theatre for Young Minds holiday series. The performances run from December 20 thru 31 at 154 Christopher Street, NYC.
