Suncoast Showroom will bring highly-acclaimed performers to the Suncoast Hotel and Casino in August, including "The Long Run - Tribute to The Eagles," singer Michael Monge, "December '63: Tribute to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons," "Hot August Nights - Rob Garrett's Tribute to Neil Diamond" and "Led Zepagain: Performing the Music of Led Zeppelin." Guests can also enjoy free dance parties and live entertainment throughout the month.

Due to technical issues (or spy interference) the Off Broadway premiere of I Spy A Spy, a new (declassified) musical comedy, with book and lyrics by Jamie Jackson and book & music by SoHee Youn, directed and choreographed by Bill Castellino (Cagney, Desperate Measures) with musical direction by Dan Pardo (Amazing Grace) will now begin its limited engagement (through September 21) at The Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Saturday, July 6th at 8pm. The show will have its official opening on Thursday, July 18th at 7pm.

The French Institute Alliance Fran aise (FIAF), New York's premier French cultural and language center, today announced the 2019 Crossing the Line Festival, featuring 11 performances and a gallery exhibition from a geographically, generationally, and artistically diverse group of artists whose work transcends genres and boundaries. All performances are world, US, or New York premieres; they are united by their convention-breaking fearlessness as they confront topics from social injustice to personal demons. Many of the performances pay homage to legendary artists of our time and previous eras, while the theme of migration and its transformational effects on identity informs several others. Theatre for a New Audience founding artistic director Jeffrey Horowitz, having just received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2019 OBIEs, today announces TFANA's 40th anniversary season. DCINY (Distinguished Concerts International New York), presents ¡BUENA ONDA! MUSIC FROM SOUTH AMERICA, featuring two choral works by Venezuelan composer Alberto Grau and the world premiere of Argentinian composer Martin Palmeri's Gran Misa.  Led by guest conductors María Guinand from Venezuela and Saul Zaks from Argentina, with Kirsten Allegri, Mezzo-Soprano, Shawn Mlynek, Tenor, and André Chiang as Baritone.

The production launches the 2019 Season at the Huron Country Playhouse running from June 5 to June 22 on the Mainstage.

The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today unveiled its feature film lineup. Continuing its tradition of elevating exceptional storytelling rooted in today's global film communities, the 18th annual Festival will showcase debut works from emerging talent and new works from notable filmmakers. The program includes discoveries, comedies, music-centered, political and social films. The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 24 - May 5.  

Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) focuses its 2019 Music in Color Free Community Concerts series (March 23, 24, 28, April 4, April 7) and Free School Concerts programs on the music of Gabriela Lena Frank, an American composer of Peruvian, Chinese, and Lithuanian Jewish descent. The upcoming 2nd Annual Mammoth Film Festival is announcing its slate of World Premieres. This year's festival runs February 7-11, 2019 in the town of Mammoth Lakes, CA. Mammoth Film Festival will unleash the Jean-Claude Van Damme starrer WE DIE YOUNG as its Opening Night Gala World Premiere film on Thursday February 7. WE DIE YOUNG is an action thriller directed by Lior Geller (award winning short Roads) and stars Van Damme, David Castañeda (Sicario: Day of the Soldado, End of Watch), and Elijah Rodriguez (Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Book of Life). Last year's inaugural festival drew headlines for being 'the biggest first year film festival ever organized' and this year's lineup and events aim to repeat and expand the momentum.

The Broadway community mourns the loss of Carol Channing, a Tony Award winner and theatrical legend, who passed away on Tuesday, January 15 at age 97. To commemorate her life and work, the Committee of Theatre Owners will dim the lights of Broadway theatres in New York for one minute on Wednesday, January 16 at exactly 7:45pm.

Fifty-eight film and television writers have been named finalists for The 44 th Annual HUMANITAS Prize, it was announced today by HUMANITAS Executive Director Cathleen Young and President Ali LeRoi. The writers are nominated for their work in the 30-minute Comedy, 60-minute Drama, Children's Teleplay, Independent Feature Film, Drama Feature Film, Comedy Feature Film, Family Feature Film and Documentary categories. The HUMANITAS Prize was created to honor film and television writers whose work inspires compassion, hope, and understanding in the human family.

 Roy Clark, the legendary 'superpicker', GRAMMY, CMA and ACMaward winner, Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry member and co-host of the famed 'Hee Haw' television series, died today at the age of 85 due to complications from pneumonia at home in Tulsa, Okla.

The Stratford Festival lost one of its pioneers today. Douglas Rain died of natural causes early this morning at the age of 90 at St. Marys Memorial Hospital, just outside of Stratford, Ontario, the city in which he established his career, becoming one of the world's great classical actors.

The Quin, located at 57th Street and Sixth Ave., will mark the fifth anniversary of the hotel's popular Quin Arts program with a memorable season finale in November. The Quin will present an exhibition featuring the works of renowned photographer Slim Aarons.
