Playwright and performer Pascale Roger-McKeever will be bringing her one-woman show Fingers and Spoons to the SoHo Playhouse this month. The provocative show, tackling open marriage, will play from Thursday April 25th to Thursday May 2nd. I spoke with Roger-McKeever about the show and the process of putting it together.

Mrs. Doubtfire, a new musical based on the 1993 hit family film of the same name, is actually based on the 1987 novel Alias Madame Doubtfire by Anne Fine. The stage musical in all its purposes features music and lyrics by Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick, with a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell. The National Tour is currently onstage in the Carol Morsani Hall, at Tampa’s Straz Center for the Performing Arts.

In Puerto Rico, Darnell Abraham debuted as George Washington for a limited historic run, with Lin-Manuel Miranda reprising his role as Alexander Hamilton. As excited as he was, Abraham became full-time when he took over the role a few months later and has been doing it ever since.
