The Edge Theater Company presents 'A View From the Bridge' by Arthur Miller December 2 through December 31 with performances on Fridays and Saturdays, Monday, December 19 & Thursday, December 22 at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 6:00 p.m. (No performance Dec. 24 & 25). The FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training continues its 2016-17 season with Arthur Miller's multi Tony Award®-winning drama A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE. An icon of the American theater, Arthur Miller has enriched the world stage with numerous classics including Death of a Salesman, All My Sons, The Crucible, and A Streetcar Named Desire. Directed by FSU/Asolo Conservatory first-year acting professor, Andrei Malaev-Babel, A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE previews in the Cook Theatre at the FSU Center for Performing Arts on Tuesday, December 27 at 7:30pm with a special 'Pay What You Can Performance,' officially opens on Wednesday, December 28 at 7:30pm, and runs through Sunday, January 15.

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College continues its 2016-17 season on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 3pm with the beloved star of stage and screen turned song-and-dance man Tony Danza performing his new hit show, Standards & Stories. Accompanied by his talented four-piece band, Brooklyn-born Danza will perform a selection of his favorite standards from the Great American Songbook, along with selections from the hit Broadway musical Honeymoon in Vegas (in which Danza starred), while interweaving stories about his life and personal connection to the music. Dundalk Community Theatre kicks off its 2016/2017 season with a musical tribute Always….Patsy Cline from October 28th - November 6th.  The season is then followed by "I Hate Hamlet" and "Shrek:  The Musical". DCT has something for everyone this year and the festivities are just around the corner. Southbank Centre's Winter Festival supported by NatWest returns for the holiday season with a packed programme of festive fun and entertainment for all the family from performances including a new version of hit show BIANCO by UK's leading circus company NoFit State Circus, the Tony award-winning musical Million Dollar Quartet and cabaret sensation Le Gateau Chocolat's first ever work for children (and the young at heart) Duckie, to festive concerts, social dances, creative workshops, choirs and a weekend of events inspired by the theme of giving and charity. The I-d Project Opens at the Lowe Art Museum

The I-d Project opens on October 6 at the Lowe Art Museum as a pop-up exhibition and experimental space that encourages visitors to reflect on and explore notions of identity through art and the written word. A unique partnership with the Lowe, this project is co-curated and co-created by by Jill Deupi, Beaux Arts Director and Chief Curator of the Lowe; Cristina Favretto, Head of Special Collections at University of Miami; and Amanda Keeley, Founder of EXILE Books, and occupies the space of the Lowe's former Store. The I-d Project, which will be on view through April 2016, encompasses a display of books and identity-centric artists' books and zines for purchase and browsing, with a focus on questions such as: Who am I? Who are you? Who are we?

California Repertory Company (Cal Rep) at California State University, Long Beach announces the opening of its 2016-2017 season with Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge, directed by CSULB alumnus Jeff Paul. The Broadway production of A View from the Bridge recently received the 2016 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play. Cal Rep's staging of this timeless classic runs September 23-October 8 in the recently renovated University Theatre. This intense examination of human nature - the dangers of obsessive jealousy, xenophobia, and homophobia verses the inherent instinct for survival - was a powerful comment on current events when it was written in 1955, and resonates still.
